Blue Dolphin Caravan Park and Holiday Village

The manager Jason went out of his way to be helpful. We were in a windy sight an he happy for us to relocate for the last 5 days of our 10 night. We were also expecting some parcels so he went every day to see if they had arrived. Sites were all spacious, we did not feel all hemmed in like at most parks. IGA, bottle shop, bakery and beach all less than 200 meters. Only negative was there is no camp kitchen only BBQ. Agreat little caravan park.

Was charged $40 for 1 night as it was just myself. Thought I was getting a good deal till I set up camp for the night.I checked in at 3pm and went to the bathrooms- they were closed for cleaning. I waited and waited till it got till 5.30pm. I went to the office and was yelled at from a distance “ WE ARE SHUT WHAT DO YOU NEED” I asked when the bathrooms were open and they said oh they are shut as we are painting. They pointed out that the other bathrooms were open- which are about a 100-150m walk to get to. Would’ve been nice to know 2 hours ago.Finally, time for a shower. First off, the door doesn’t close so anyone off the street or animals could walk right in. Anyway. Walked in. Mould, all over the shower, all over the shower curtain. Cigarette bud in the cubicle. Absolutely disgusting. I am disgusted that I now have to walk 100-150m in the middle of the night in the pitch black. If would nearly be quicker for me to walk to the public bathroom on the Main Street, which has a door that shuts and street lights to light the way.

Our camp site itself was great however the owners took it upon themselves to have a domestic around 11pm after a night on the drink. They were arguing, smashing things and making as much noise as possible for about an hour and a half at which point they thought they’d put on some music for the whole caravan park to hear.If you want a good nights sleep I recommend a spot as far away from their private residence as possible

Paying 50$ for a night in this camping is definitely a joke.Has to be the most profitable camping in AU because their investment on the facilities and area are less than minimum, and the price is higher than any 4-5 star camping you find.It had to be illegal to charge this money when you have things in that conditions.Make yourself a favour a try to book anywhere else. If you can’t, well be ready to pay 50$ just for water and electricity.

Denham is a popular destination but even though that they shouldn’t charge you 50$/night when the caravan park itself and the facilities are so basic.They don’t have a common kitchen and there are no dryers in the laundry room.The sites for the caravans don’t have grass or concrete, so they don’t need any maintenance.I don’t think they charge you a fair price once you realize the little maintenance they need to do in this caravan park.

We called the caravan park just hours before and we arrived there out of office hours but Jas or Jay the manager went out to see us and met us on the entrance area warmly. We are a small family travelling without so much butane left for our camp stove but this camp ground was so good for us. They have a great bbq area with stove and tables, chairs with cute colourful lights. We were able to plug our camping fridge without hassle. The area is so clean especially the bathrooms. We paid the next day when the office opened. We would definitely come back with other family members. They also have some brochures of what you can go around and see in Shark bay area. Worth recommending.

Blue Dolphin Caravan ParkInexpensive accommodation which is very walkable to town, shops, cafes, pubs restaurants and the beach. Located on the main road into Denham, on the right hand side.Friendly staff although caravan park amenities need some maintenance and updating, the shower door wouldn't close properly. Have used cleaner facilities at many other parks.• Ensuite, powered and un-powered camping sites.• Park cabins (sleeping 4-6)• 50 metre walk to the swimming beach.• On site laundry facilities.• Campers gas BBQ, stove, sink and fridge with freezer in laundry.• Barbeque area• Two minute walk to the shops.• Dogs allowed in Park, must be leashed.• WiFi (best located on limestone steps near office)Camp kitchen had a yellow light (no not my photography) and was combined with the laundry. They have to be joking at $48 a night. The place is a dump and a quick walk into the showers will explain why they are the only one in town with vacancies. Please save your money and go elsewhere. They are a disgrace to WA and Australia. Those giving more than one star have to be the owner’s. Look at the pictures. The only place you will come out dirtier than what you went in! DISGUSTING!

This caravan park is the perfect place to be in Denham... close proximity to everything you need, shops, pubs and activities, also great views, can't fault this park or the new owners absolutely fantastic, on arrival Donna could not be any more welcoming and friendly it made you feel like a local... love this place and the facilities... thanks guys see you soon....

Lovely caravan park, very well maintained and the services are super clean and bug free! The sites are very large and spacious also... We booked 2 powered sites last minute and the site managers were very friendly and obliging! Close to all amenities just a short walk away, when we looked to book for a second night, no issues! Would definatly recommend staying here!
