Amazing difference in light to the area in question. A bit expensive for me as a pensioner as I’ll never pay back the price to get it installed in my lifetime . All the same aesthetically it makes all the difference. The company looked after me and provided a payment plan. I’m very happy with the product.

Very happy with the 2 x solar lights installed in my kitchen which was very dark previously. Quotation was on site and everything was explained by the lovely salesman. Your customer service was very responsive. The installer Jason was professional, respectful and did a fantastic job with no mess. The product is better than I expected. I would highly recommend this business and have already referred friends.

Shame its not possible for zero stars.Attempted to order a solar whirlybird for our home. Asked for a quote, took a couple of weeks for a response by phone call. We understand businesses may be busy, but some acknowledgement would be nice.John asked me to look in my roof to provide some details and to text him. Was a struggle to get into the roof and figure out what he needed, but got there. Then as discussed, texted him that day, then 2 days later, then 3 days after that. No response (thought he must be busy), but a month later and no response.Thought i would message to say thanks but no thanks, and confirm our address and what we were looking for, and he had absolutely no recollection of our conversation.Poor form. Come on guys. Surely you can have better business practices than this. Your competitors that are getting our business will get our word of mouth recommendations to all our friends and acquaintances now. Disappointing.

No surprise at all to see 4.8 out of five on google reviews. Had four skylights installed very recently and could not be happier with quality of workmanship and of course the skylights themselves.Allan and his team even did extra work on the ceilings around the skylights with no charge. This is the family business which pursues quality and service excellence first and profits second.I would not hesitate to refer friends and families to this company.

This is the second time that we have use Sunshine Skylights to install some lights in dark areas of our house. Allan is very good at his job and doesn’t just sell you what you think you need he sells you what you actually need . Very happy with our new skylights in our stairwell particularly. Much brighter than the first lights we previously installed many years ago. Very appreciative of the fact that they fitted us in before we had our roof painted. My only gripe would be if the installer would clean up after themselves, other than that very happy with the end result.Would definitely recommend this company. Patti

Had two existing skylights renovated approximately 10 yrs ago at a cost of approximately $1500 or more. After the reno, by Matthew at Sunshine skylights, the lounge skylight would have rainwater gush into the house, and onto our furniture, in big rain storms (unfortunately a fairly regular occurrence in Summer). Both the kitchen and lounge skylights have a rectangular polycarb sheet that was cut too short. The silver foil like lining, as we look directly up into the skylight, from our lounge couch (very visible), is roughly done and unsightly. It was blindingly bright, after clear domes were put in to replace the our old ones, and the glare and heat was terrible. We put vinyl on the diffuser panels to dull the glare and decrease the heat entering (vinyl sheets bought from bunnings and cut to size by us). We were recently advised by the company rep that it was in their paperwork that the skylights are to be kept cleared of leaves ( no leaves visible on the skylights from inside), and the rep, who we asked to come to quote for fixing the skylights to stop rain coming in, on Monday, told us how to remove heavy roof tiles to check underneath for leaves. We are 60 yrs old and it is a two story house, and our terracotta tiled roof being pitched at approximately 20 degrees. We did not receive the promised quote to replace the two transparent, incorrectly sized, polycarb rectangular diffuser panels; for the discussed more opaque acrylic option. What a waste of time and money. I wish we didn’t have skylights. Regards, Thea Keane

I found the team at Sunshine Skylights amazing, very good work ethics and knowledgeable in their field.I had the solar powered extraction fan together with the downpipe spreader and leaf guard installed at the same time.Special thanks to Alan and the young installer JO.I Strongly recommend their services, you won't be disappointed.

We got the solar fans installed on our home, we have no aircon so the noticed the difference right away in the Brisbane summer. The install was really quick - in and out. They do make a low hum noise (like a fridge) if you really listen for it, but once we insulate the roof, that will disappear. One's over a toilet and the other is over a garage, so no big deal. Quality product with powder coat finish. Would definitely recommend.

Both Allan and John were more than patient and helpful answering my questions about Polycarb Sunshine skylights. Their prices were competitive and I'm happy with the quality of their product and the installation. The skylights replaced older skylights and the difference in looks and brightness is exceptional. I am happy to recommend their guidance and advice, their products and installation.
