Scuba Shane Diving

Cannot recommend Scuba Shane Diving highly enough. I loved that the course was over three days and stated off in the pool, being a nice safe environment to do the swim test and then get used to the equipment.Day Two was in the Tweed River and was a little harder than the pool but the water was not rough at all so it was good for getting used to the equipment in salt water.Day Three was in the ocean diving at a known reef just off Tweed Heads. The ocean was much rougher than the river but because we had done so much already with the equipment, it was only about using those skills in the ocean environment.What sets Shane Scuba Diving apart from other dive companies offering certificate courses is• 3-day Open Water course, not two days - more time• Cost includes all equipment;• Integrated BCD (no wrestloing with weight belts);• Smaller groups;• Top of-the-range scuba tanks - Steel Fabers.

Shane has been absolutely the best teacher in our 3 day open water course. We loved that the course is 3 days so we get to learn the essential skills in the pool on day 1 and spread out the 4 dives in the next 2 days. Shane was very open and honest in sharing his knowledge and insight to ensure we understood the importance of safety. Shane has navigated us super well when the weather condition wasn’t the best and kept us calm and supported us to go through the course. Thank you Shane for the course and would definitely go back for additional courses with Shane!

I had an AWESOME time doing the Open Water Course at Scuba Shane Diving! The class size was small (3 people) and there was a lot of 1:1 attention to make sure we understood what was happening. I can’t give enough praise to Nathan, our instructor, who made the class so much fun! I highly recommend this course to anyone considering SCUBA certification. You can’t beat the price, attention to detail and overall great experience!!

I recently did the rescue diver course with Shane.All in all I think a rescue diver course is one of the most valuable courses to do as a diver. You become a much safer diver as a result.Shane takes this to a whole other level and provides a tonne of value at a very reasonable cost. It's very personal due to the smaller course size which is a massive bonus.I'm confident that I'm not only a safer diver for myself but also for those that I dive with as a result of doing this course with Shane.This is my second course with Shane, having done Nitrox with him as well. I can not rate Shane highly enough his attention to detail, but casual teaching creates an easy environment to learn, yet ensures that you learn and practice the right way.

Scuba Shane Diving is awesome! Best dive instructor in Brisbane. 100% recommend for learning to dive or just social dives if you're already certified like me :) we recently went for a dive with him at Manta Bommie off North Stradbroke Island, it was amazing!

Just completed my open water course with Shane, what an awesome experience! The pace of the training was perfect and Shane made it fun at the same time. I would 110% recommend doing the Stradbroke course, it gives you the chance to dive off of a boat rather than just the shore and it's also an awesome opportunity to see some cool marine life!

I was a diving instructor myself a couple of decades ago and I was looking for an instructor able to teach my son the same way I would have done it.Shane is extremely thorough and careful with a pleasant personality.
