My Bay Espresso
Best coffee in the Bay!Super little cafe near salamander shopping centre. The cafe is a short walk from the main Shopping centre for quite and peaceful place for a chat and a meal.The freshly made toasties are awesome (the chicken pesto is my favourite) and the sweet treats selection would be close to the best in the bay of not the best. There are gluten free options that a friend of mine rates highly.Staff are great to chat with, wait times are super quick and kept to a minimum.The coffee is a nice smooth blend made at a great temperature (not to hot or cold) and can be taken with sugar, natural sweetener or equal. It's nice to see a coffee shop offering natural sweetener as I can't stand the taste of equal.The cafe in adjacent to the medical centre and pharmacy, parking is available outside the small complex and is usually easy to obtain a spot without too much difficulty.Note this cafe used to be located in Nelson Bay so if you thought it had disappeared don't worry it's still close by in the area.Get them a go I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

A fab cafe not to be missed. Though we arrived after closing time, Renee kindly waited and made us coffees. Her warm hospitality and great coffees and treats made this a ‘must visit’ cafe for us. Lots of gluten free treats to choose from. We’ll be back next time we are this way as I hear their Rueben sandwiches are ‘to die for’! Thanks Renee

In the area on holidays and great coffee has been hard to find - well not anymore! Beautiful blend (Stitch), great quality soy and Baristas that know how to handle it - the lovely service is the cherry on top. Keep up the great work!!!

I was told by a co-worker that this place had the best coffee in Nelson Bay. Turns out, they weren't lying. Between all the places I've been to around Nelson and Salamander Bay, this one is definitely the best.Their toasted sandwiches are delicious, also.Great decor, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff, too. I'll definitely be coming back again.
