Excellent room overlooking the mountains, nice and clean.Only downside really being the minimal gym and the pool is not environment to relax around.Definitely would stay again!

Two girlfriends and I had the pleasure of staying at First Light in a two bedroom apartment for two nights. Plenty of room for a ‘friends hangout’ but may be a bit tight for a family. Excellent location! One street back from the esplanade so no noise but very convenient to walk everywhere. The concierge Amanda was a big plus for this property - from the minute we walked in until the complimentary check out time she was friendly, informative, helpful and made us laugh! She will definitely look after you. The two bedroom had a good size balcony on the 7th floor we had an ocean view between the high rises in front of us. There is very little bench space in the bathroom and there is no bath except in the penthouse. The pool isn’t really a family hang out pool it’s small and no lounge chairs to laze on.Modern decor, so not tired like some of the units on the coast and has a very well appointed kitchen and a laundry.

Our family of 5 stayed in the gorgeous penthouse here for 3 days. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the decor and spaciousness. Very handy location and reasonably priced. Management were very accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Excellent customer service from Olivia. The car parking space we got wasn't ideal, Olivia didn't hesitate to find a perfect solution for us.Great location, walking distance to beach, restaurants and Coles.

Started with upon arrival, we waited a good 20 minutes for someone to attend the reception, I called the landline and mobile several times, rand the bell several times. There were 3 groups of us waiting to check in, and the group before us said they were waiting 10mins before we got there.The apartment is ok, they could occasionally get steam cleaners onto the couches, they stunk like BO which wasn't very nice and relaxing.The sink in the master room was blocked, water took 5 minutes to get through which is grose. The so called heated pool was not heated at all, it was cold. The gym had 3 machines and 1 was put of order.Definitely not worth $1150 for a 3 night stay, would not recommend and will not return.

Everything you need for your stay is in these modern apartments; laundry, full kitchen and Netflix on main TV. The images of the apartments look deceiving though. We had a 2 bedroom and it was quite crammed, but fine for a couple and has everything you need. The location is perfect; one minute walk to the Main Street, the beach and a few minutes walk from Coles.Cons: the showers could’ve been cleaned a lot better! The couch is light coloured and you could see the dirty stains on it so it could’ve used a good clean. The furniture on the balcony was rusted so we had to use the furniture from inside when sitting on the balcony. There was no fly screen on the balcony door or on the bedroom windows to let fresh air in which would’ve been amazing. The weather was roughly 23-24 degrees when we stayed and we turned the AC on before bed but the room did get quite humid overnight. The apartment was decent otherwise…

Stayed in one of the Sky Homes. Spotless luxury, beautiful beds, quality furnishings and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Location was great and views over the ocean and the mountains spectacular. Excellent service from reception and secure parking. We'll be back.

Poor arrived to no towels provided in the main bedroom, reception closed. Asked the next morning about having towels sent to our room and told of course,however when we arrived back in the evening wanting showers to go out for the night still no towels. Lucky we had our own in our car to use as reception closed again. Shower in ensuite poor down to a dribble. One thing I expect in a good hotel is a decent shower.Also someone else's make-up on our doona. As for cleanliness other people hairs still on the bathroom floor on our arrival and dirty marks on wall by toilet. Wouldn't have put up a review if the towels had been supplied as they should have been in the first place, but to request towels and still not get them was very disappointing thus the poor review.

When we checked in, the air-conditioning was on, the room was very cool compare to outside humid weather. Each room has an air conditioner, there is a balcony for us to enjoying a cup. The rooms were very clean.The reception lady was very friendly and helpful, we didn't know how to turn on the electric cooktop as it was locked, she came up to the 12th floor with us showing us how to unlock and use the cooktop. The swim pool is a bit small but we enjoyed swimming there everyday feels very relaxing.

If you have a family car then good luck with it.No off street parking as yellow line on First Ave.We were told swimming pool is heated but its not.TV is useless including cable channel as it only has very limited option.
