Brilliant little food van on the side of the road. Meats were soft / tender and juicy.Love how she has done the meats.Salads were also delicious.Worth a stop and also to support small businesses.

Thankfully they were open on Good Friday so as travellers we could get dinner. We enjoyed the footy box (a mix of all their meats) and a lamb burger. Really really tasty... and big. If you're in Tenterfield, don't drive past this place without trying it.

Just had the footy BBQ box - YUM! Big enough for two to share as a small meal, or for one if you're hungry. Everything was beautiful, but the chicken wing was the best. Would go back for a bucket of them. Great service, lovely owner.

Absolutely the most tender, flavoured meat ever. Big burgers and even bigger burritos, with home made sauces. Hi A+ food and service. We will definately be back.

Gourmet Drover's is where you go when you want a fresh, delicious meal based around bbq, smoked meats, salads and homemade condiments, along with burritos and burgers. Bec, the owner, does brisket, pulled pork, smoked chicken and weekly specials (check the facebook page for this week's treat). She also makes all her own pickles, salsas and sauces.Bec sources her ingredients directly from the local abattoirs, and her salad and vegetables mainly from Sue's Fruit and Veg (another place worth a visit if you like good food). She preferences local and organic produce and it shows in the finished meal: no limp lettuce, watery tomatoes or weak sauces here.In short, this is the place to pull over when you want a healthy, tasty meal instead of the usual roadside junk (and for not much more money than the junk, either). You could eat here every day and your tastebuds and waistline would still thank you. It deserves the 'gourmet' in the name.

Had the make it a meal brisket pack and it was fantastic. Gourmet Drover was recommended by Jackie at Craigs Caravan Park and she didn’t let us down. Well done Gourmet Drover.

So glad everywhere else was closed for lunch, that's how we happened to come across this little gem. Amazing home-made food, the salsa was absolutely bomb! Generous portion-size too
