Marrickville Prestige Smash Repairs

My insurance company referred me to MPSR. They called me that my car was ready to pick up. So my partner and I took a day off so I can pick it up. Upon picking it up, we noticed that they did not fix the steering wheel. So we had to go back to tell them its not fixed. The customer service advised us that it could be fixed within the day. So we waited and waited and waited. Obviously, it wasnt fixed. So we waited until 5pm in the area. We wasted our day. Finally when we picked it up, the steering wheel was still not aligned. Very disappointed. We will never use this repair shop again.

MPSR don't do any of the above:I had a mechanic run into me. The damage is to the bumper bar & perhaps the grill according to my mechanic whom I sent a sms photo. I lodge a Budget Direct claim with $700 excess & I am booked in a month later to Marrickville Prestige Smash Repairs. At 10.30 am on the day, with a 2 pm 15 min assessment appointment, this MPSR rep rings me & after seeing the photos -We only do small jobs". What does that mean? = they are only buffing out scratches? The mechanic that drove into me said my radiator hadn't been impacted. Apparently

Got an appointment pretty quickly and was initially impressed. Got the car assessed at the garage and mechanic said he’ll text me to let me know when to bring the car back to repair.4 weeks later and I still haven’t heard from them. Try contacting their customer service and the phone line is always busy so it hangs up on you. Still waiting for a response.

I had some minor damage to the bumper of my Toyota Landcruiser. I took it to the boys at MPSR an spoke with Peter an Sebastian. They assisted me immediately with the utmost efficiency. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that requires any repairs to the vehicles.

I contacted them via their website to have some minor repairs done to my new Tesla. I never received a reply, so I called and spoke to a lady 'Toula' who had no record of the inquiry. She asked me to email her with photos of the damage which did. . That was 3 weeks ago. I'm still waiting. I eventually called another firm who does minor repairs on site. They came the next day and did a perfect job.

Unbelieveable people. Recently, I left my car at MPSR after I had a car incident.They repaired my car and now I have my car back.When I went there to pick up my car I have noticed one of my car wheel cover was missing and the thermostat was not working.My car is old but the mechanics have done alot of work on it and it is a very reliable car. My mechanic found out that someone cut two electrical cables slightly for the thermostat and caused this problem. I have also found out that they replaced my brand new 4 bolts out of 6 bolts with the rusted old bolts.Why do you jealous of my car? If you want to have a reliable car then go to the mechanic and spend money on it. Terrible service..Will never leave my car with them again with this terrible service.

I had my first experience over one year ago before I became their customer. I was hoping to get some paint to patch up the little chip on my brand new Tesla. The friendly boss got one of his staff to patch it up for me without any charges.Unfortunately for me that I had to go back to them for a repair few months later. The friendly staff were very professional; they completed the job before the appointed time. My car looks like brand new again. I am a happy customer and have no problem recommend them to anyone/my friends.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Do not ever take your car there, it is the biggest rip-off. Insurance sent my car there after a small accident and I got the car back with damage that wasn’t there before. When I told Mike, an arrogant and ignorant man that the 2 sides he fixed weren’t even, he denied everything and said that the damage was already there.I know 100% it wasn’t there already, I talked to the assessor from the insurance and he told them to fix it which took another day. When I went back to pick up NOTHING was touched. One of the employees was standing next to me and try to convince me that they spent 4-5 hrs trying to fix everything.They are trying to rip people off and the insurance with a quick dodge job.I’m definitely taking this further.It was a simple spray and paint job, nothing was done properly, I can’t even open the bonnet up anymore.I know he was rude not only to me, I watched him yell at a poor old lady after me. He thinks he is smart and everyone else is wrong .Excuse for everything for lady next to me and I’m guessing for more customers there is “the car was damaged before “ I guess most cars in Sydney been damaged before .Sure chip excuse to ged rid off you .Prepay extra 100$ to choose your own insurer will be cheaper for you then deal with these arrogant people.”!
