Very slow in serving. Coffee order took 25 mins and there was only one infront. Coffee tasted awful.

Loved this place, the service was amazing the staff were so friendly and always smiling. Food and coffee came out fast and hot also tasted great.

Dolphin Watch Cafe
The location is beautiful, right on Nelson Bay marina, however, the cafe itself is quite run down and several 'staple' cafe items were unavailable on our visit (hot chocolate and banana bread). We ordered fried eggs and bacon, and scrambled eggs and bacon. Whilst the serving sizes were large, the fried eggs were overly oily and the bacon was overcooked (almost charcoal-burnt in parts). The coffee was so strong that my wife had to have extra sugar (3 instead of her usual 1) and I had to have extra sweetener. Unfortunately, there isn't much competition at this particular location.

I loved this place. Came for breakfast. Ordered the big breakfast special and it's delicious! Staff were lovely, very helpful, nothing too much trouble. For a tourist spot the $$$'s were what you'd expect. Special shout to the barista, great coffee to start the day with.
