Brilliant mechanics, they did a extraordinary job restoring my '83 Jaguar XJS back to mechanical perfection. And do a great job looking after my 200 series, Good old fashion honest mechanics, friendly and very helpful owner at a bloody good price..

Rang up about a problem with the oil light coming on, even before I finished explaining what had happened he said engine is stuffed will look at it but if it's stuffed you can't leave it here.so decided to go elsewhere who fixed the problem no drama and reasonably priced ,had it back the same day. Won't be going back there

The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. The owner handled the situation well but his staff were APPALLING!! We couldn't believe the way we were spoken to as customers. Because of this very bad experience, they have now lost 3 customers and we would not recommend Zappala Motors to anyone!!

I can't say I wouldn't recommend Zappala motors at all. Denny is a good guy, but unfortanetly we lost a lot of money with him.We bought a Kia van, cause we wanted to travel the east coast with it. From a bad experience with another car before, we knew Denny and with our first car he did a good job and helped us out. So we wanted him to check any other car, before we were going to buy it.The Kia van seemed great, and in pretty good shape. It needed a new regio and a roadworthy, which Zappala motors did. Obvisiouly they forgot to check the oil, but it's not just their fault, we forgot to check it as well, so the car broke down, after a few kilometers on Magnetic Island.Denny offert us to call him, if we get in any kinda trouble, as I said, he is a nice guy. So we called him, we wanted to tell him what happened and that we have to leave the van on Magnetic Island, cause the transport was too expensive for us and the complete engine was done.Denny said we should invest the 600$ for the transport from Magnetic Island to Cairns and he will fix the van for us, in a price range we could afford. So we did. He said he will do it in up to two month.So 4 month later, he hasnt done it and we were in Sydney, super broke cause we invested all of our money in the van .... Until we flew back to Germany he wasn't able to fix it, but always promised us, it's going to happen next week... So we lost all of our money and flew back in the end.So as a conclusion I don't want to say anyone of them is a bad person or they were doing a bad service... But they handled our situation totally wrong, so that we lost money we really would have needed.

My trusted mechanic..... keeps my cars in good running order. No job is too big or small!! The owners knowledge and experience in the industry is extremely valuable. Approved inspection site for the Queensland Dept of Transport and Main Roads.

I take my car here to get serviced. Lady at reception is lovely and always takes the time to chat with me about any issues. Owner is a straightforward mechanic who will tell you like it is. I have found them to be trustworthy, providing a value for money service. I will continue coming here.

Honestly, this was the best experience I ever had at a mechanics spot. The manager is really switched on and he gave me the cheapest deal I've ever had. Also a really nice family place - always see one of his sons zipping around. I thought you didn't get mechanics places like this anymore - it's nice to see they still exist.

The past reviews are from the previous owner...I met with the new owner just prior to Christmas 2015 with my fwd which had major heating problems and was towed in by racq.The team was very Efficient delivered the vehicle back to me on time which was important as it was a company car and due to head to Mackay.In most cases you will deal with the owner or certainly one of the friendly staff to accomodate the service you require.This Business works hard to save you $$$ as they are humans not sales people..On my personal experience with Zappala Motors they certainly tick all my boxes! ..

These guys are amazing. Genuine, honest and hard working. After taking my wife's Volvo there they not only fixed it up but went way beyond what I considered was the actual job. These guys will go the extra mile, if you are decent and civil. Common courtesy goes a long way. I would highly recommend these guys.

Was forced to go here by my insurance company. In previous experiences with a situation like this I've received lack lustering and inconsistent service. I was extremely surprised when Danny got my car sorted not only quickly, but professionally! Since that first meeting I've changed to Zappala for all my mechanical services and repairs. Danny always goes above and beyond to sort the issues and even at a great price.
