What a delightful addition to Yorktown Square! We had a fabulous lunch there yesterday. The schnitzels were delicious and cooked to perfection. Generous servings and a huge list of side dishes - all excellent. The lady who looked after us was amazing. Wish we could get that level of attention everywhere else. Keep it up !!

Good tasty food, served hot to our table. Very generous serving size. Friendly attentive service. The dining room has good structure. Could use a plant or two just to make it less bare. The music choice was very off-putting, we could actually hear the music playing in the kitchen, which would have been so much better for the atmosphere than the terrible play list that just didnt suit a dining room. Overall, we enjoyed our meals but in future will get it to go.

My partner and I went to Schnitty Bar yesterday for our last dinner in Tasmania, following a wonderful road trip around the state. We were greeted by friendly staff and ordered our food promptly. Our anticipation for an early dinner soon turned into impatience, then annoyance, as we waited for more than 45 minutes for our two dishes to arrive. The restaurant itself was not that busy as it was a Monday night, and the schnitzels themselves tasted pretty standard - nothing special, especially for a schnitzel joint. Prices were okay for the portion sizes.All in all, a below average experience, not solely due to the lateness of our food, but also due to the lack of acknowledgement of said delays. A simple time estimate for dishes when the kitchen is understaffed and/or the restaurant is busy would more effectively set customer expectations - upon hearing that the food would take 45 minutes to come out, we would’ve opted to order takeaway or eaten somewhere else. Alternatively, an apology for the wait would’ve been appreciated. Considering that neither of these things were done, I would not recommend this place to others, nor would I return here.

Have been here a few times for lunch, the lady who greets us and seats us (owner?) Is always lovely, the food is always good and the options are great. We love the chips and bourbon bbq sauce and the variety of burgers/wraps is excellent! Definitely a place to stop and enjoy some great food!!!

Great Atmosphere, food was delicious and staff super friendly. My only criticism was the apple slaw had no apple it was a regular coleslaw. Still did not affect the great meal. Highly recommended the katsu snitty.

Ordered with uber.Got the katsu chicken with salad and stated a tomato allergy, so instead of still sending the sauce (which contains tomato) in a seperate container, they decided in all their wisdom to just not send it or a replacement. Now it's just a standard schnitzel, I was going to give that sauce to my friend I ordered with. And they didn't offer a refund for the sauce.Why would I have ordered the katsu chicken if I didn't want the ONE THING that seperated it from a normal schnitzel??It was also completely coldOnion rings burnt, actually BLACK, gross.One of the wraps was ripped and the sauce was ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE and it was cold.the other wrap was fine but stone coldThe chips and bourbon sauce 10/10 but you've lost three customers today.Very disappointing.Filed for a refund with uber.

Dont Waste your Money.... first time trying the new restaurant after the move having been several times before the move. So disappointed appauling service, was served the wrong food without any care and the food itself was awful. Gravy that was so tasteless and bland, a so called steak that was nothing short of minute steak it was that thin and tough and a burger that was served with the sauce i dislike and asked to not have. The only salvation was the prepackaged drink and the onion rings. Handed an eftpos machine when we went to the counter without a word. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, MACCAS DOES A BETTER FEED and thats really saying something.

Still an amazing feed even though they have reduced the many options, was much better when pork and beef were schnitty options, Chicken schnittys are too common and I find I don't come here as much now
