National Storage Hope Island, Gold Coast

Very disappointing. Save your money and go to one of the many cheaper storage facilities on the Gold Coast. Firstly they charged me a late payment fee even though their invoice had not been sent out to me on time, this was regardless of the fact that the receptionist explicitly said that I would be invoiced via email while I was overseas and not contactable by other means.Secondly one of the points that they sell themselves on is rodent control. After 2 months of storage there was mouse droppings behind and in some cases on my stored items.Finally, to top it off beware of these people as even if you give the required 7 days notice to move out stated in their contract they will not refund the remainder of the month that you have already paid for. A rip off by any other name.

got me out of a jam I guess, but no toilets for miles if you're older and spending time there organising your stuff. also be aware that storage will ruin you. sell the stuff you don't want or dump it, spring things that don't bring joy will keep you broke and stressed. not an experience that I ever want to repeat. staff are nice but the whole storage experience isn't one worth partaking in.

Needed a shed as an emergency from the flooding in Waterford as we had sold our house an waiting for the highway to open we got a shed they charged us $508 for 5 nights. I ask on compassionate grounds for a reduction and i was totally ignored by staff. I even requested they ring the manager but she refused saying she had only been working there a short time. What a cop-out answer not all people and business are sympathic towards a crisis.I am truly left shaken and upset

I have stored at this place for five years now and always been treated with consideration and respect. My things are able to be accessed almost any time I wish. Prices do not leap up without warning and will hopefully be stable during Covid 19. I highly recommend storing at Sickle Avenue.

I'm writing this review because, after shopping round a few storage places, the customer service here was awesome. They took the time to show me a few different size sheds. When I moved, I used their trailer too. Penny and Kim were awesome. Thanks girls

5 stars to the new team at National Storage Hope Island. I have allot going on at the moment and the positive energy and response from the guy who is always there helps a lot.

Accommodating, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. The facility is well maintained, clean and tidy. Reasonable rates

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Penny at National Storage Hope Island for sending my losing package back to me. The package was supposed to be delivered to Canberra but ended up been found at Hope Island months later. I assumed there were no chance of finding the package after many useless complains to Couriers Please and months of waiting. I was really surprised when I was told the package was found. Penny carefully repackage the items and send them back to me. That really made my day. Penny, thank you sooooo much and merry Christmas.

Avoid like the plague. They are seriously expensive and have increased my rates by over 30% in 18 months.Security is non existent - had the padlock cut and unit entered but they didn’t know till next day. No video or anything.Then if you happen to cancel 1 day after your monthly date they hit you up for a full months rent.Unit suffered from moisture with leather lounge being covered in mildew.There are much much better options out there.
