Club Old Bar

Absolutely incredible new menu at the restaurant. Staff are friendly too! On our 6 night visit, we eat here 3 of the 6 nights.

Nice place to eat, drink and enjoy. Food was more than average and servings were really generous. The chicken schnitzel was bit dry but it was good with gravy.

Visited Club Old Bar today to my sad disappointment. I supported a young girl of age 3, and due to bad weather, I thought I would take her to the little play area at the club while having something to eat. I arrived at 9h35 and was informed that the club was not open, I wasn't offered to wait inside but rather had to return to my car, and we returned later when the club was open. I was 2nd in the queue for ordering food. There was one person taking orders and making drinks at the same time, As a ex hotel manager I found it strange for the order taker to be the barrister aswell, When it was my turn to order, I ordered a ham cheese and tomato sandwich and when asked for onions to be added a second lady walked from the kitchen area, threw her hands in the air shouting at me.... not today, just not today!!! I was so shocked that I was speechless. I am normally very cheeky, but I was blown away by this reaction that I received for asking for an item to be added to my order. I wasn't offered fries to go with my sandwich, and I was too scared to ask .I was also not allowed to ask for a side order fries. I ordered a milkshake for my client and later the same lady who took my order walked over to my table asking is this your table number, and wrote the number on a docket, a few minutes later my sandwich was delivered to the table by the same lady who shouted at me earlier without trying to make an attempt to apologise for her behaviour. The sandwich was so cold and tasteless as I expected, hence the reason I asked for onions to be added. The club was not busy. In fact, I was the only guest in the dining area. I believe the others moved to the terrace side. The club is advertising their new play area all over Facebook, and as a support worker, I am very disappointed in the customer service we received. If not for the rain, I would've walked out, but at the time, I had to put my personal feelings aside and think about the young person I was supporting 'experience. I will not return to the club anytime soon and do not advise any support worker out there to take their clients to Club Old Bar .

One of the front staff was rude as soon as we walked in because I have a backpack for my medical stuff and medications. The chips were ok the chicken schnitzel was average. They couldn't or wouldn't sell soft drinks in a jug. To be honest I was greatly offended, disappointed and won't likely return! I cannot recommend this establishment.

Played 18 round of golf. I didn't play but the men and children did.They had a ball on this really hot day. My Daughter In Law and I sipped Lemon, lime and bitters while they played. $58.00 for 3 Ad and 3 Ch.Great day and took them about 45 min. Booked online simple and easy through their website.

Bistro - would not recommend. High prices with underwhelming service. Save your money and go support one of the other local businesses.Waited 1hr and 20 mins to get our food and when questioned about the wait there was no apology or ownership of the unreasonably long wait time nor was there any empathy shown. There were what looked like a local netball team who came in after us that got their food before us. We will not be returning to this bistro again.

Nice Aussie bowls club!Blue Ocean Bistro has amazing food, much better set up now with table service, since 2023.Putt Putt and family friendly vibe.

Words simply cannot describe my experience. From the moment I walked in, I knew it was a restaurant. We took the seats which we had reserved, except they weren’t our seats, because they gave us the wrong ones. After speaking to the owners and relocating to the correct seats which we had reserved, we waited an hour and thirty minutes before our meals were delivered. As we were patiently awaiting our morsels, I was enraptured by the beige and lifeless atmosphere of the restaurant. When our food finally arrived, I was brought to tears. The taste and texture was simply indescribable. And by indescribable, I mean there is no words to describe the suffering I endured as a result of consuming it. I felt violently ill afterwards, and I feared that I had contracted food poisoning. I tried to ease my discomfort with the water they provided, however it was lukewarm and only contributed to my pain.I feel that I should describe the coveted meal in greater detail. The chips were bland and had a rather strange after taste. I attempted to improve their quality by dousing them in gravy, which, may I add, had a dried film on top of it. The gravy did not help. In fact, I suspect that it hindered the quality of the meal more so.Experiencing this restaurant has truly opened my eyes. Prior to dining here, I was under the impression that despite the struggles we face, life was beautiful, and it was a gift to be on this earth. Since dining, I have been wrapped in the thralls of depression and misery. All I long for is the sweet mercy of death to take my soul from this world. Every time I eat now, the food has a salty flavour, because of the tears flooding down my face and onto my meal, dampening it like my dampened soul. The mini golf course was in great condition. The course doesn’t have novelty features (clowns or windmills) but each hole is challenging and fun.
