Falcon's Lookout
Great spot for rock climbing & abseiling. Has routes from grade 10 to 25, top rope or lead. Only drawback is the 20 minute walk in and out.

I went here expecting to see falcons, then realised I'd badly misread the punctuation and it's not Falcons

It was a fantastic hike, not as difficult as it looks. Will recommend to visit on a non rainy day.

Great view at Falcon's peak! Could see the snaking river at a good vantage point. Was about 35-40 mins from the trail entrance to the peak. Some rock scrambling at the start and it was mostly incline/declines but nothing too dangerous. You can see another side of the river if you walk on the granite ingliston path after walking through a field but the view is better at Falcon's peak. There is parking space right at the trail entrance, no toilets.

Absolutely stunning panoramic views of Werribee Gorge with Werribee River meandering its way through. To the far right is Maddingley, Bacchus Marsh, straight ahead is the Eastern part of Werribee Gorge State Park, along with Melbourne's skyline on the horizon and to the north-east is Western Freeway. Took me approx 50 mins of rather strenous hike from Ironbark Gorge Track carpark on Ingliston Road, through thick bushland, edgy rocks, dry creekbed and steep hills. Return was under 30 mins though. Stay dehydrated.
