Great service. Authentic Turkish cuisine. Delicious cocktails and huge plates. There is plenty of weekly specials. Very popular with bookings recommended.

Omg! Just had the most incredible meal with my family at the newly opened restaurant Taste Of Istanbul . The owner is amazing, so generous and so wonderful. The food is to die for. I’ll be making this my weekly eats. I use to have to go to Brisbane to eat like this - now it’s a 10 minute drive instead 2 hours. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to eat there! Yummy!!!

The staff here were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, so full of flavour. The coffee was also amazing, one of the best I have had. Thanks so much, we will be back for sure.

This place is a disgrace for Turkish food. The owner is Turkish but has no idea about proper Turkish food. I am Turkish myself and was embarrassed when I brought my friends there. Kebabs were reheated, meat was tough and the spices were so overwhelming that you only taste spices. I am sure most of people who know what is real Turkish food, would agree with me. If you want good Turkish-quality food that is closet to Turkish standard do yourself a favour and go to Brisbane.

My family & I had a truely wonderful dinner tonight at 'A taste of Istanbul' there service was personal and warming. The food authentic & delicious, we really had a wonderful dinner and can't wait to come back & support this unique culinary experience. Our new favourite! Lovely to see Turkish lanterns, ceramics & tapestry inside too, transported me back to the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Bajan the owner was so welcoming & it was refreshing to see an owner of their restaurant in the kitchen & serving beautiful food, talking to customers & sharing his experiences. We had a wonderful traditional soup, pide, shish, chicken & eggplant dish & Turkish delight! Couldn't fault anything, worth supporting this local gem.

We were deliberately overcharged and given a wrong receipt, in our experience they kept getting over friendly with the customers including us and asked many personal questions to distract us while paying, be careful. Because once they get your money they won’t pay it back. We were charged for different foods and items that we didn’t order at all … but we always request a receipt and check that right away; that’s how we realized. The owner claimed had no cash out in his restaurant to return the difference (hard to believe when you saw the people before you paid in cash) and mentioned would bank transfer; having said that, this never happened.The quality of the food? Well I just invite you to read other reviews. Definitely not authentic Turkish food even mentioned by Turkish people: not worth a penny. The meat was so stiff that no knife could cut it through. Saw the cooks were smoking in the kitchen. The only thing was worth the pay was the wine. Apart from that this restaurant was more of a street food vendor.The owner who stole our money and said will transfer the refund but then he did not, be sure your business would go nowhere with robbery.

Chicken wrap didn't hit the spot: too much lettuce and chicken tasted quite dry. Would prefer a wrap packing in much more flavour like with adding herbs, garlic, olives and pickles. Try to copy Yaman Mullumbimby for chicken wraps.Also I asked if there was a surcharge on card payment and I understood there wasn't but I was charged a surcharge for using card.

This place is a hidden gem!! The food was amazing, the staff so friendly & knowledgeable, unfortunately one of the cookers were down so it was on limited menu but that didn't stop us enjoying the feast, we had the cheese rolls as an entree which were hot & fresh something I've also never tried before. We had the Lamb Shish & a Chicken Shish, the meat was melt in your mouth & the flavour was intense! Incredibly fresh & prepared perfectly, the bread, dip & rice also equally delicious however the size of the salad or more a mountain of leaves was a little unnecessary but in all, this is probably the best turkish restaurant I've been to in a long time. We'll definitely be back to try more of this authentic restaurant.
