Retro Port Douglas Apartments
Doug’s Apartments are the most stylish and well thought in town. We have stayed in many different apartments in Port Douglas, but these were by far the best. So many little touches, organic products, sunscreen, Off-Spray, kitchen tools and a fabulous coffee machine that if you buy high quality coffee (try origin espresso) you really get a good cup of coffee. Unbeatable comfortable couch, super comfy mattress, nice terrace, professional barbecue - we stayed there more than two months and I can tell you that we felt like home! Would definitely come back!!!

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
Fantastic stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated, with new kitchen appliances, super comfortable furniture, a nice TV and an updated bathroom. I particularly loved the kitchen and the swinging chair on the small patio outside.It's an easy 15 minute walk to town with a grocery store, good restaurants and pubs (Paddy's has amazing live music on Sunday afternoons!). We appreciated the two sets of keys, chocolate bar, bottle of wine and all the recommendations on things to do!

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
We had the most wonderful stay at Retro Apartments! The apartment was beautifully styled, with every comfort and convenience (and I was very inspired by the fabulous furnishings).We enjoyed being located so close to town and spent our days heading to and from the beach.Doug was amazing ~ fast to respond and nothing was too much trouble.I highly recommend this beautiful apartment for anyone looking for the perfect Port Douglas experience.

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
Retro Jungle was such a cool place to stay – seriously cool. We absolutely loved staying there. Everything was so well thought out – from the supplied items in the kitchen and laundry to the Netflix. The pool is amazing to spend hours in. We just couldn't fault any of it. Highly recommended. We'll be back first chance we get. Thanks Doug and the Retro Gang, your place made our holiday!

Amazing stay! Was filled with all the amenities that you needed (cooking essentials etc), convenient location, quiet rooms, stylishly furnished and very comfortable. Doug was prompt with communication and very helpful with great tips and advice leading up to the stay. Was a home away from home. Highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Port Douglas! Will be recommending this place to all my family and friends! Thanks Doug!

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
The apartment is well setup, comfortable, close to the main centre, beach and marina, walking distance. Every conceivable item is added to the unit to make your stay comfortable and easy. The local guides give a real insight to the best of the attractions, we followed these and were well rewarded with great experiences. Everything worked, all appliances, TV, Netflix, Bose speaker. When we did have a question we were answered so quickly we were amazed. We will stay again, thankyou so very much. Oh and the decor is retro and distinct.

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
We stayed 3 nights in the Retro Palms apartment and it was amazing. The apartment looks exactly the same as the pictures. It has been decorated so lovely. The place was super clean and stocked with everything we needed and more for a great stay. Loved the google mini and coffee machine! The apartment complex is located in a great spot, on a quiet street but still nice and close to the centre of Port Douglas and just a short walk/drive to four mile beach. The owner Doug was so lovely and easy to communicate with. Loved the delicious Daintree chocolate and wine, a nice touch! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Beware! Misleading Cancellations Policy.Of all the many places we have booked over the years this has been our only horrible experience dealing with Accommodation.We booked the most flexible cancellation option available,but Unforeseen events cancelled our flights almost a month before our travel dates.They were very unhelpful and charged us anyways.Every other one of our Accommodation options were Reasonable and Awesome to deal with.

Retro Port Douglas Apartments
I was one of the first guests at Retro Port Douglas and highly suggest you stay here! It truly felt like a home I could live in, and I even tried to extend from 4 nights to 6 but unfortunately someone was already booked right after me. Clean, newly furnished, lots of amenities from expected (like wifi and washer) to pleasant extras (netflix, Bose speaker, espresso machine). Super soft sheets and a comfortable bed made for a lovely stay. Excellent apartment, I would definitely book again if I find myself in Port Douglas!

This is the best place to stay in Port Douglas. Beautifully renovated with sophistication and style. Complete with relaxing swing chair, an awesome coffee machine to compete with Melbourne's fussiest and even Netflix! Just a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants and beach. This amazing apartment has more than you need to feel relaxed and perfectly at home with the perfect amount of retro fun lux.
