The salesman was very accomodating to our needs and installed an additional 4.9 kW onto our existing 5 kW system. They managers to fit it on our roof in a very neat way so it fits in with the house design.

Found out about Instyle Solar at Costco Moorabbin scanned the QR Code at the kiosk and was contacted by a rep from Brisbane.Sales guy came we negotiated a price signed up and then was told the $300 Costco Voucher I was entitled was not available to me because of the price I was given! Looks like I got scammed and Costco gave them free advertising.

Instyle Solar were great in getting all of our solar sorted. Lots of information and great customer service. We are saving heaps on our bills. Thank you.

It took the Vic Sales managerJohn Bartzis 2 hours to get to the price of the system! He made out I was getting premium quality Californian designed system. What I got was Canadian Solar panels with a Sungrow inverter. All low to mid range Chinese made.The fine print at Costco, which displays a Fronius inverter, said the system has to be 6kw to get $300 back. Mine was under 5kw. John said he would pay that. But no longer worked there after, I complained about his sales technique. He just messaged saying good luck!The installers were great. The Safety switch is too sensitive and if there are any power outages, or electrical storms it goes off! It’s gone off at least ten times in 6 months! InStyle did come good on the cash back and gave me two extra panels.I was told a safety switch was Vic regulation. They can change it to a circuit breaker, but then there has to be more conduit on the outside, between the inverter and circuit board. Even though all of my wiring goes behind the wall.My first bill in 55 days was $18 in credit. I was kept up to date with installation from InStyle and that all went well. Apart from some of the conduit on the outside, when I asked it to stay inside the wall!The 5kw system cost me around $5,000. Half of which is a government loan. John made out I was getting a 10k system for $2,500 and it would pay off itself in 4 years. Was it worth it? Time will tell!The 25 year guarantee also states the panels and system needs to be cleaned and checked every couple of years. Read the find print and compare systems, before you get solar.It took 6 months to finally get the safety switch replaced! The last tech to look at it said everything was fine, but it still played up! The last time wouldn’t stay on all morning. Since replacing the switch it seems to be running fine. I heard I wasn’t the only one with this problem. Easy fix, but too slow to fix!

After a bit of a hiccup due to a staff change over at the beginning of our solar journey, and our account being closed when nothing had begun, once rectified, could not fault the service of Instyle Solar. The staff in the office couldn't have been more helpful, and the installers were fantastic! Happy to recommend.

I delt with Instyle Solar back in September 2021 but financially was not ready to go ahead. In February 2022 l went back to Instyle and delt with Brad. Brad is a big asset to the company as his customer service was outstanding, from the very first phone call Brad went through everything with me step by step and explained how the solar works as l had no idea. I have no problems recommending Instyle Solar as from day one everything went smoothly and know lm ready to go. Well done Instyle Solar you really look after your customers.
