Stoney Creek Day Use Area
Great spot for a large gathering, picnics and refreshing swims!The main swimming hole is a short easy walk down hill from the carpark area, about 5 minutes. Good for large gatherings too. There is a disabled car park spot, please see photos. There is a ramp to the toilet block, and the toilets were clean and there was even hand soap. Very well maintained.For a challenging hike go up the creek climbing over the rocks to see gushing waterfalls and rockpools. Grippy shoes, snacks, spf and water is essential. We completed the full trip in 4 hours, including a long stop for the cold water swims. Very refreshing!

Love coming here on a weekday when it's quieter, having a swim and a picnic. Bit of rubbish about after a weekend including broken glass bottles on the bottom of the large swimming hole but overall a great spot

Surrounded by an abundance of greenery, very peaceful. Great place for dip, feeling refreshed and lie on the grass after in the sun.Plenty of parking space. Recommend bring snacks

Nice little spot for a fresh water swim. Easy drive and short walk. It has a good rope swing and some rock jumps

Day use area small but little walking to creek with Toilets. Plenty of water to swim in. Very refreshing.

Stunning clear swimming hole for a dip. Crisp cold water yet very refreshing. Highly recommend packing a picnic plus an inflatable tube would be fun too. Drop Toilets at the car park and Entertaining tables and open bbq pits. Nov 2022

Nice to swim in when the rain has flushed fresh water through. Great picnic area with toilets. Although it is on a dirt road to visit a 4wd isn't necessary.
