Comfort Inn Botanical

Never again, nothing like their photos. The room we were allocated was tired and badly in need of a makeover.First impression were not good as we waited in reception for 10 minutes before some rude person actually came down. There was instructions to call using their number but no one answered. The room was freezing.The split system heating was inadequate and rattled making noises. The bed sunk in the middle, the light globe fell out of the fitting when you turned on the light. The seating cushions on chairs were stained. The rather small bathroom had been updated but the fittings were in the wrong place, the toilet roll holder was actually located on the wall behind the toilet which meant you couldn’t reach it. The towel hooks were at face height directly in front of the toilet. No shower door so water went all over the floor. Extremely disappointing

Location - close to shops and nearby restaurants and cafes. Botanical garden nearby for a short stroll. Comfort also has its own restraurant if you dont like to explore. 5/5.Service - very friendly and prompt. 5/5Rooms - a tad outdated and in need of renovation. The bed is moving lol (cant find a lock on the base of the bed to lock it), pillows are no good. Clean room and have everything you need though. Give it a 4/5.

Great meals at a great price. Friendly helpful staff, prompt service. One of the best steak sandwiches I've ever eaten.

Stayed one night, room was good except no relaxing couch or chairs. Bathroom was excellent, great large shower. Only downside was we were right near where all vehicles had to exit the grounds therefore no sleep after 6am. All early leavers should be in that area.
