As time goes by and us oldies experience body failures my take on hearing aids and I ask what user likes wearing them? We know the answer. My hearing deteriorated many years back and I used the govt voucher scheme for a pair. Disaster. Nothing worse than the feedback of you own voice, hearing yourself breath and irritating side noises. Found their way to a forgotten place. Last year we did the big lap of AUand always asking my darling to repeat herself. So off I go to a high end place in belmont. Insisted on one only and out of pocket $500 after pensioner voucher. Again couldn't stand wearing it so it had time sitting idle. Our dog ate it. So after further berating from Madam Lash off I go to Geelong Hearing specialists ( Yarra st)determined to get one only on the still active govt voucher. Well, whole new world for me. Out of pocket admin $40. Not a hint of previous problems and whereas I couldn't wait to get them out, can't even notice I have it in and my hearing is now so good. Highly recommend.

Felt his manner to be insulting and to have a sense of entitlement, I would not recommend them for any hearing issues.

I do not recommend them for ANY hearing issues.While this so called “medical facility” has a high google rating, my experience with them was not that high of a standard, early in 2023.I was not given a hearing test of any kind, treated with disrespect, easily dismissed, shamed for being sick and shown little care during or after my appointment.Please be careful when making and/or attending any appointment for you, a friend or a family member.
