Snowy Panda Hot Pot

Worst hotpot I have ever had. DIY level. everything was ridiculous, they use the camping oven, all the food and seasoning I think was from super market and was not fresh. worst thing is, they give you these DIY level food, but you have been charged as double the price of Sydney.

Hotpot after a day out in the snow is the best, was so keen to try this place. The number listed on Google maps doesn't work so I called into the motel to get their number and booked a table.Unfortunately the day we went a couple things were unavailable (no tsingtao and some hotpot bases unavailable). Still a decent spot for dinner and beers though!

Fantastic hot pot, large portions, good service, reasonable prices! Highly recommended.

The best Chinese food in Jindabyne. Spicy Crayfish Noodle/Rice is a must try.

It’s a very lovely restaurant in the snow mountain:PVery good Chinese restaurant in the building with big “Motel” sign, we even chopped some woods while we’re waiting our dishes ! And the fireplace I’m the middle of restaurant is sooooo cosy in the cold dark night! Highly recommended! And their soy milk and pork rice is awesome!!!! If we back to snowboarding again, definitely would come back!

Friendly staff and atmosphere. Without a doubt the best hotpot in Jindabyne. Broths and foods are diverse and tasty. Definitely worth the visit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in just a few minutes after 6pm when they opened and lined up to ask how the hotpot set menu worked, as my family waited in the car. As I was at the counter next to be served, another lady just comes next to me to make an order, and the attendant just ignored that I was there and took her order instead.I eventually got served and as I was asking my enquiry, the lady asked a guy to talk to me instead. Obviously I don't speak Chinese, only English, so there was a bit of a language barrier there. The guy eventually understood what I was asking and then asked if I'm ready to order now. I told him I'll get my family from the car and come back.When we came in, we took a free table. There were other tables that were reserved so we took the one that didn't have a sign. As we were deciding what to order, the female attendant comes to us and asks if we have a reservation and we didn't. She then points to another family standing there and says that they do. Told us to go find another table. There was no reserved sign on the one we got. When we went to look for another table, all were taken. We ended up just walking out.They obviously attend to and give preference to people that can speak the same language as them and put us English speaking at the bottom of the line. Terrible customer service! Would never recommend this place. Don't bother if you can only speak English or look different to them because you will not get served.

It seems the chef and team changed from last year as the menu totally different. No more beef noodle, and we need to scan the QR code to order.Very happy with the soup base, and the quality of the food, have a great night with my friends! A must try in Jindy
