Basic amenities for a dogma, hot water takes a while, dripping tape, quiet and effective heater, lower your expectations except for a nice fire.

Basic but clean and friendly, a very welcome spot to get in our of the cold. Hot showers, warm beds, great roadhouse food on offer, surprisingly cheap compared to many outback stops.

Clean and large but basic accommodation for those needing a bed prior to hitting the Oodnadatta Track. It can get busy at any time but if rain closes the track the place can get very busy. Not a place for a lengthy stay.

Basic, but Marree IS a very remote location. We spent one night there as we had a 7am flight over the lake..Is owned by the pub, and accommodation in the camping area behind the pub was free, but the noise from the bar reached the caravan park!We had Basic cabin for the night. Comfortable enough. Water is described as non potable and they provided a big container for drinking...Apart from the pub this is the only choice in Marree. The pub is nicer, but the park is fine. Just basic.

Interesting place. Needs a lot of repairs. Be prepared for having to use the communal showers even if you have an ensuite room or no water at all.
