Staff arrived on time and were very polite. They took good care of my furniture as if it was their own, both with loading and placing the items in my new residence.My only disappointment was that I wasn't given the opportunity to pay the account via bank transfer, which doesn't attract a 2% surcharge. I received a call shortly after the truck left asking for my credit card details for payment. Also, as I'm a repeat customer, I wasn't given some relief on the hourly charge. I used Southside removals back in Dec 2016, which I highlighted in an email to Emma. However, not withstanding this, I would use Southside again.

The people we used were absolutely amazing they were fast friendly and efficient. Best removalist I have ever used. Thankyou for your amazing service.

Great experience with Southside Removals from start to finish. Emma was extremely helpful in managing our booking, going above and beyond to assist my mother to settle the bill for us for our housewarming gift. Mick and his offsider were super friendly and took great care of our belongings on the move day – even when battling through a sudden downpour of rain and with lift issues on the day! Also going above and beyond to ensure that our furniture and boxes were placed in their correct location. We will be highly recommending Southside Removals to all of our family and friends! This company was recommended to me by quite a few people on FB. I think I called them, emailed and left a message about 4 times and STILL haven’t been contacted. What a joke. Get your basic system together. We were moving a massive 6 bedroom house twice one for staging one for moving and storage and packing. Your loss!EDIT: thank you for your response, regarding my disappointment above. You are 100% right. I am not a client. That would mean a return call, email or response to the quote request. I am glad you agree to your lack of due diligence in getting back to me.I emailed first, I called on 2nd of June and left a message. You mention you are a family run business and cannot get back to people straight away, Totally Fine, I don’t expect you too. Everyone gets busy. However, you also state that you get back to people who leave voice messages within an hour. You were open in June (6 months ago)when I left a voice mail yet you STILL did not respond not an hour later, day later or a week or month later. This was to remove items for storage for selling our home.I also emailed for a quote on your page in June. Heard nothing of course except someone who recommended you told me to be persistent. I called the mobile on your FB page in January that redirected me to your voicemail, I called your 1300 number again. NADA. I checked Google didn’t see a closed list. If I saw you were closed I would not have called obviously.I truly dislike dishonesty…There was NO other form of contact on your voicemail message otherwise I would not have called it twice.My call on 10th was out of pure desperation and frustration after countless forms of contact that were never addressed.A blatant lack of disrespect towards a potential client is evident in this post. I’ve seen similar responses on other peoples comments as well.I didn’t dehumanise you on the phone I was pretty much begging you to call me back. You actually admit in this post that you waited 6 months to make a decision to not call me back.What makes this even more disappointing is not just your lack of customer service and respect but the fact that you had time to respond to THIS comment but not to a potential client looking to actually hire you for your services over 6 months ago, that had contacted you on several occasions.Don’t try to insult me now by stating THE ONLY reason you didn’t call me back is because I voiced my disappointment over the phone after several attempts to get in touch.I am extremely glad I didn’t go with you. Your abhorrent response tells me everything I need to know about your company and it’s lack of civility.

Every aspect of dealing with Southside has been a great experience. Emma was so helpful with the booking and all the pre-move details. The boys were great on moving day. They were polite, friendly and did a great job taking care of our belongings and getting them into some tricky spaces. They helped make our move stress free.I would highly recommend Southside removals.

After having a terrible experience with a different company years ago, we moved our home with Southside Removals last week and would highly recommend them! The guys were reliable, polite and worked non-stop for many hours until the job was done (and we had a lot of stuff!). Emma was also really efficient, replied to emails quickly and was helpful with my questions. Very reasonable pricing too. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

The experience was positive. I had 3 men and a truck and they took pretty much the amount of time I estimated. They worked hard, were careful with my things which were mostly new, and helped me place everything in the correct place.....so much so that it left me enough time to go out and shop, prepare for my partner's birthday party, cook and entertain a bunch of people on the very same day in our new home. Thank you!

We have moved 13 times ! This time we used the amazing team at Southside and it was by far the easiest move yet. Every member of the team from booking to the actual day was fantastic. I highly recommend the team to assist you with your next move !!

Southside Removals are a great option for your future move!! They were very dedicated, careful and respectful towards us and the items being moved. Our removalists were Tyrone, Matt and Nick... very experienced and hardworking in our recent move. Highly recommend and well priced !!!
