Perfect spot in a beautiful little town. A very relaxing atmosphere with the river and trees, and the kids enjoyed being so close to the playground and public swimming pool across the road. The bathrooms were always so clean and smelt lovely. We will definitely go here again!

My mum and her friend stayed at the caravan park this week. While there my mum had to cut her short and get back to the mainland. The people who run the park went way above and beyond in helping mum out. They were a bright spot in a difficult situation and were the highlight of the trip. Cannot recommend this business enough.

Arrived long after the office had closed. Got instant and very welcoming service, shown where to pitch our tents, facilities etc. Toilets and showers were very clean. Hope to come back some time.

The rating would be higher except the camp kitchen needs a good clean out, particularly all the cobwebs. The other facilities were good.

horrible place to stay. i think this bloke has just taken over the place recently, wasn’t like this last time i stayed here, he has a vicious guard dog, that we couldn’t get close enough to the reception to complain, everything was untidy and said was cleaned daily, no hot water in the showers. I’m sure we caught him looking through our window as well. Would NOT take my children there, my wife felt very unsafe and had to lock the doors every night!!!!

We just keep coming back. Central to this wonderful town of bakeries and hotel. Managers Mike and Sharon go out of their way to assist. The caravan park is spotless. We see their tiny friendly dog on his daily walks ( on lead) always ready for a hello and pat. Showers are hot with great pressure and no coins required. Laundry payment via coin or credit card - again spotless and well maintained. A credit to the managers.

Awful experience! Owner is an absolute creep, had a big scary guard dog, very vicious, he was peeking through caravan windows most nights, , didn’t feel safe around him, I would b carefull taking kids there, wouldn’t rate this experience to anyone!! Definitely better places to stay in Tasmania
