Well worth the climb, the track has deteriorated over the last 20 years. If you choose to clim the mountain, be patient and climb at your own rate with breaks as you need it. It’s very much worth the effort with 360 degree views at the top.

It's an amazing view along the path to the top where you can have a 360 view of the area although not without moving around.I would hesitate to take smaller children and it's too difficult for most dogs as some areas are just too steep for them.Going down can also be a bit hairy for those that are not too nimble which is something to keep in mind as you climb up.

Challenging hike and some rock scrambling parts on the way. But when you get to the top, the view here is well worth the efforts. It's recommended to come during winter time as there is no much shade and it can get very hot on the way up. If you come here in summer, just make sure to bring enough water with you. Overall, it's a nice place worth the visit.

Bloody hard work. Thank goodness for the chain railing as they are great support both ways. Lots of rock scrambling to be done. Good workout n view was rewarding. However, lots of flys once you reach the top ...a toilet stop perhaps unfortunately .A toilet at the base at the park would probably be a good idea.

Challenging but very rewarding views. We did this walk on a Friday with two adults and five children aged between 11 and 6. Surprisingly the kids did really well requiring little assistance. There are a few areas that are slippery but there is a chain and steps to help. Be prepared to get dirty as there is a lot of rock scrambling.

Great hike, not as hard as the reviews said but still very challenging. We saw people with their dogs and infants doing the full hike! Much higher vantage point than mount tibrogargan, we'll definitely do this one again

We enjoyed our climb up to the summit. The last part of the track is steep and requires some footwear with good grip. There is great views all around and it's worth the effort.

This is a great climb, but don’t be too hasty as it’s a difficult one. Not too difficult though, just challenging and tough on the legs and body. We did it with our 8 and 10 year old girls and they were quite capable of getting to the top. Such an amazing view from the summit. I would not recommend this in the wet though, as the rocks would be very slippery. Make sure you pack a small picnic or snacks for when you get to the top. You’ll need the energy to make the climb back down.

A very difficult climb with spectacular views from the top. It took us 1 hour to climb the 1.5 Mountain and 1 hour to come down. You need arm as well as leg strength to be able to use the chains. Leather gloves certainly make coming down a lot easier. We loved it
