I can’t speak highly enough of this salon. Marylee is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and coloring. I’ve been getting compliments daily as a result of her work!

Great place for a haircut. Although I moved out of the area, I travel 90 mins just so I can get Marylee to cut my hair.

For years I persevered with hair that I hated. No matter what I seemed to do I would come out of a salon with blonde hair that turned brassy quickly and damaged my hair. And then I found Do or Dye in my local area and I've never looked back. Marylee does a wonderful job, the products she uses compliment my hair perfectly in terms of colour and protection from damage. She is excellent value and she's very quick and efficient. Very happy.

I have been going to Do or Dye for many many years. When Marylee had her baby I had to look elsewhere for a salon so I tried locally (on the North Shore) and I could not find a place that could do my hair in an efficient time and be reasonably priced and get the same quality service. I sometimes take my 4 year old with me and she plays in the little playroom out the back whilst I am getting my hair done and she loves coming with me.I have mid length blonde hair and Marylee can miraculously get my hair sorted (full head of foils) and cut in around 1hr 45 mins max, I can’t get that anywhere else! I travel from the North Shore as for me it is totally worth it!

I am always happy with my hair after my regular visit. No nonsense, old-fashioned customer service and care. Beautiful range of products, and the gorgeous Italian flame candle range.

I was so happy when I found Marylee; she always does my hair beautifully and doesn't chew my ear off. I've been to other places that took twice as long, cost a lot more and just wanted to talk for 3 hours. As at introvert, I find small talk very draining - but with Marylee, I don't get anxiety before I go - she just accepts me the way I am. Highly recommended

Got my first haircut in 3 years (since the first covid lockdown) and I love it. Service was friendly, no judgement (my hair was not in a good state after my partner gave me a postpartum covid haircut) and very efficient. Will be returning from now on in to maintain!

Marylea is an amazing hairdresser! She listened to what I wanted and consistently gets the blonde shade that is perfect for my skin tone every time. I love visiting the salon too! Grace and Marylea are so welcoming and friendly and the whole hair colour and cut is professional and speedy - no wasting the day which is perfect for a busy mum like me! Also, Grace is very tolerant of my changing my appointment quite often as things keep cropping up lately - I really feel like nothing is too much trouble and like part of the family. I really wouldn’t go anywhere else now!
