Beautiful interior and friendly staff makes for a divine, relaxing experience from the minute we walked in the door.Handy location meant that we finished the work week and didn't have to drive for hours to the peninsula, for a relaxing bathing experience.We were greeted by friendly smiling faces and shown the facilities and what to do. Fabulous private change rooms and lockers are provided.We showered, and then enjoyed the warm pool, the hot sauna then cooled off in the cold plunge pool. This had the effect of relaxing us so much that we took a break in the lounge area while we enjoyed the complimentary herbal tea and snack.After gaining back some energy, we entered the steam sauna and started the whole bathing, sauna and cold pool process again.Loved the complimentary shampoo, conditioner and Dyson hairdryers. If you have unruly hair like me, you may want to bring your hair serum and a hair straightener, especially if you want to go out afterwards.Highly recommended and I will definitely visit again.

I came here once before and had a massage and facial. It was the most relaxed I've ever been. Today I tried the bathhouse and it was amazing. We rotated between the hot water and the cold plunge and it was such a joyous and relaxing experience. The tea was also delicious.The space is so body positive- I will definitely be back.

Had a massage there and it was wonderful! The space is so lovely and relaxing. The massage was amazing. They also have nice wide massage beds which is much more comfortable than other places I've been to. They also have the yummiest coconut water! The service was lovely all round, high recommend. Will definitely be coming again!

Wow, so impressed. Would highly recommend if pregnant! I had the most heavenly pregnancy massage and felt so comfortable the whole time. Love the cosy interior and attention to details, felt so inviting and safe. Will be booking another!

I've been wanting to come here for quite some time and was in no way disappointed! I started with hour remedial massage by Ryan which was absolutely wonderful! While still providing a full body massage he paid plenty of attention to my problem areas and made sure I was comfortable through out. He was such a lovely and relaxing presence. I followed up with my first ever experience with bathing at a bath house and it was just wonderful. It was so lovely to see people of all shapes and sizes enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Melbourne

I had a 60 min relaxation massage and it was the most blissful experience. The massage therapist was very professional and spoke in a really calming tone. Every element of the experience was beautifully curated down to the calming ambient music playing in each of the spaces, the refreshments in the lounge area, scented oils and soft surfaces and textures throughout. The design of place is stunning.

My experience at Sense of Self was absolutely phenomenal. It was my first visit to a bathhouse and for someone self conscious about their body, I felt more than comfortable there. The bathhouse itself is accessible with multiple amenities and wonderful staff, more than happy to help when needed. I also went for a massage upstairs and that was levels above anything else I’ve experienced. Kate was very friendly, easy to talk to and continued to check on me during the massage without interrupting the peaceful and relaxing setting they had created for me.Absolutely wonderful place to visit, will return when I’m back in Melbourne!
