I’m so astounded by these “self-entitled” reviews. Here you have a world-class hospital with the best doctors and amazing staff providing leading health care FOR FREE. Where in the world do you get that? Try the USA? You’ll need to get a second mortgage. This is one of the best hospitals in the world that took such great care of my daughter when she was there. Thank you.

Friendly and helpful team. Definitely the best hospital experience so far, despite the long wait. Everything got sorted out in the end. My son is happy, his arm is fixed, overall a very professional organisation. Keep up the good work RCH! Thanks for looking after us.

Have had my son admitted to the Koala Ward through ED twice now. The effort, compassion, and care from all staff is brilliant esp when needed through such crucial and vulnerable situations for children. It really takes a special type people to do what they do here.

My son was in 3 children hospitals in NSW and VIC, and RCH was our last destination. The Doctors, Nurses, Palliative Care team was so passionate, warm, and always provide the unconditional care to my son who was unfortunately not recovered with his rare genetic disease. We was so grateful! My family lost a life but we feel like we owed the whole team a life!

My son had a leg injury on last Sunday afternoon. I was grateful for all the prompt and professional services provided by all the medical staff from emergency department to the possum ward. I won’t remember all the names and some could be a misspelling, but Dr Jim helped us with preliminary assessment, the formal doctor in the x-ray identified the needs of the trolley for movement immediately, nurse Michael in emergency, nurse Amanda, Ella and Kristy in the possum award, anaesthetic specialist Toby. You are all so wonderful and made the process as smooth and stress free as possible. Our special thanks for our surgeon Dr Ben Mwaura, you came to see us at 10.30pm after you obtained the CT results. You patiently explained the situation to us and skilfully managed our anxiety. You had a full day operations the next day including my son’s and yet came to assure him the operation was successful. You looked so tired but you know your personal assurance meant a lot to us!We probably won’t see you all in our follow up visits but our gratitudes towards each of you are beyond words.Many many thanks!

Great hospital! Good doctors and nurses. Cleanliness of the facilities are great.

I used to think this hospital was the best! Now it has changed so much. From the information desk person who was rude and unhelpful, who could not be bothered. To the specialist Doctor today I saw who was not at all understanding and had no people skills or compassion. She seemed cold and like a robot. To wait so long for an appointment for answers on moving forward I was told that my daughter's condition is not far advanced enough for treatment or surgery. I was so disgusted with this response. Not only that, she seemed to have better things to do and didn't seem like she wanted to be there as she was running behind with her appointment for my daughter. I left in tears and had to drive home which was over an hour stuck in traffic.

Amazing place doing awesome things for kids that need to be there, well set up , heaps of parking & all the amenities you could need for any time spent there. Our son had to go to three different appointments on the same day the staff were great at keeping him calm & happy on what was a long day for a baby.

waiting in the emergency with a fractured hand for hours.....and hours..... and more hours!!!!!Update to reply on hospital's reply:Thank you for your reply, waiting 5-6 hours to get ANY kind of service (especially medical one) is NOT OK, there is something seriously wrong with the health care system in this country and needs immediate resolution! I have changed my rating to 3 stars just because hospital staff were amazing (esepcially Amy) and its not their fault that we had to wait this long, its the health care system's...

Can’t explain how my child was able to sneak in a razor and self harm, 5 time claim of not having my details to contact, excellent at deflecting. Rude impatient nurse because…was unable to follow some rules, was discharged. Complaints are ignored and deflect.
