After a poor (and very expensive) experience with a larger city family law firm, research led me to Rowan Skinner to take over the reins on the matter. Rowan's experience, knowledge, pragmatic and empathetic approach were instrumental in getting a satisfactory outcome. It was nice to have some common sense prevail and Rowan drove that. A big factor was that Rowan was considerate of my circumstances, and also that he was easily contactable and personable.

We do not live our lives thinking ‘I would like a lawyer’ but when the chips are down and the need is there, Rowan provided a calm and collected approach and guided my family through a minefield. He is open and transparent on costs and came-in under budget. He delivered what he undertook to do on-time and in a kind, supportive manner. While I hope it will not happen, should we ever need legal advice and guidance again, Rowan will be ‘my’ lawyer.
