I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of the team for allowing my family and I to wait in a room almost all day with our girl, so we could all be there to put our Sophie girl down unexpectedly. The kindness and compassion you all showed today was beautiful. Tanya, thank you for your support and advise, you made a very hard day slightly easier! This is not the first time this hospital has gone over and beyond either. Could not recommend highly enough. Again thank you. Also to the nurse that shared a little of her sandwich meat with Sophie (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) xx

Had to put my fur baby tinkerbell to sleep today, dr Tanya kept her so calm, I’ve never experienced having to put a pet to rest before so I was very nervous, the experience was beautiful and my baby looked so peacful. They even gave me a little lock of her fur so I have a little bit of her with me.Thankyou for taking care of my fur bubba ❤️

What a wonderful team ❤️ Thank you so much for everything you did to help our Babygirl such a heart warming team. And when we arrived home this morning I opened the letter box to find a sympathy card with Babygirls foot prints. I’m flabbergasted at how thoughtful and kind hearted this was. Thank you so much I will treasure forever xx

1st time here and we found the vet to be quite lovely with our senior years puppy and also very communicative and attentive with us.

I took my dog to see the vet as she had been wetting her bed for a few nights. She had never done this before so was extremely unusual behaviour. Urine and blood tests were carried out. I was then told 'she's 13 years old, she's got kidney failure, she may live 3 - 12 months, feed her this kibble and canned food'. That was the consultation. I was in complete shock as there was no preparation for this news and no other explanation of my dog's condition except for a very basic statement that her blood test showed abnormal kidney functioning. No opportunity to discuss any options. I immediately took her to another vet practice for a second opinion. They explained in detail that the results could mean several things including 'kidney injury, acute kidney disease, kidney failure' and there were options to explore this further but at the very least to start her on antibiotics and at this stage absolutely not to feed her kibble as her diet needed to be wet. My dog has since had other tests revealing results and she is much better. Had I listened to Belmont Vets, i would have caused further harm to my dog. I am angry and totally appalled by this 'consultation'. It seems the vet saw an older dog, went off basic blood test result, sold me expensive dog food, went onto another client. Charged me a significant amount of money. It is not the money but the trauma it has caused and the very poor, unprofessional, uncaring and potentially harmful treatment to my dog.

They helped me with my very sick best friend. Sadly in the end I had to put him down. They sent me condolences via a lovely card. Trevor will be sadly missed xxx

We had to have our cattledog Monty, euthanised this morning, nearly 14, and worn out, starting to struggle, so we had to say goodbye. I can't praise the staff highly enough, Brian Garrett and his nurses were so kind, and caring to us, and more importantly, to Monty. Terrible time, made better by the service and humanity of the practice, which has always been the case throughout the many years and pets we have taken there. Thankyou very much.

Sad day but staff were great and reasonably priced
