Karumba Lodge Hotel Caravan Park

WOW! What a fantastic stay once again. Best caravan park in all of Karumba right on the Norman River. Great pub meals. Locals are awesome. Can't say enough about the park host Carol - what an awesome chickie - couldn't do enough for us. Met some lovely travellers - made some good friends xx

With only 14 large sites this is my kind of park. Obviously right next door to hotel, with a great view of the river and only short walk to shops. Boat ramp only just there as well.

Needs shade.

The lodge is by far the worst, paper thin walls & creaky floors, you know you're not alone on this planet,.,

Staying at this Caravan Park was one of the highlights of our recent trip to North Queensland. We had the best spot in Karumba on the waterfront. The amenities are near new and very clean. It is central to the local shops, the boat ramp and the hotel facilities. We had a lovely cool breeze all the time.Meals at the hotel were good and just a minute walk to pick up the Sunset Cruise.

Central location but really just a carparkWe actually booked into this park but were a bit horrified when we pulled in to find that it was a really just the old hotel carpark converted to a caravan park. Bare gravel, no trees or shade except right next to the river front. For fishos this place could be heaven.The location on the river is great and if you want to be central and next to the river, pub, shops and boat ramp then go for it.The main bar at the pub is called theAnimal Bar" and is aptly named being the drinking hole for the local deckhands. The lunch we had there was okay. For the best pub meal and sunset

Like staying in a Coles carpark only no shade. At least they have shade in Coles carparks. Definitely disappointing . Note to self don't trust reveiws
