Beautiful pies. The chicken pie contains real pieces of chicken. Not the usual ground down pie filler. The cakes and biscuits are terrific!

A regular stop for me on my way through to Moliagul. The bakery makes awesome batter based donuts, really good. The curry pie is quite respectable and the bullboar pie is a must try for that traditional Victorian goldfields special flavor. They have a liquor license and stock a good variety. Their coffee is pretty decent as well.

Stopped here for some basic groceries while travelling through the town of Newstead.A small but well stocked general groceries store that is also licensed to sell alcohol. Lots of parking off site in the street with dedicated bays.Staff was friendly and helpfulPractices functional Covid protocol and has the QR code login.Wheel chair friendly unknow about public toilets.
