Prouds the Jewellers Burwood

The older employees in this store are very curt. They roll their eyes and huff around if you don't purchase although I have bought plenty of things here. There used to be a young asian girl working here who was the only staff worth your time but I haven't seen her working the last few times I have visited. Such a shame as I won't be coming back any more.

I went to buy watch yesterday along with my 21 mnth old baby and partner. I was choosing watch and my baby was making noise .She is 21month old, I cannot stop her crying and making noise. They asked me to get out with my baby . I felt so embarrassed and got mentally obstruct listening to it. Is it because I am brown and she can say such rude to me and baby . They should put the sticker now on no more baby inside the shop.The lady was so arrogant.I feel she was getting racists.

We purchased a present with the genuine certainty that we could return it if it was not the right one for our daughter (this is what we were told).The following day we went to the shop to return it, but we have then been advised that we could only exchange it, not return it.The item was still wrapped and in original conditions.The staff refused to give us the email or the details to make a formal complaint.Prouds has behaved in a very unprofessional and unpleasant way

I visited the store to exchange a watch and The girl (operator 11595 according to the Invoice) made it clear she hated serving us.

Waste my time at this time… entirely. The customer service is so poor. The south asian lady served me didn’t even try to serve and try to push me away from this store. Keep saying she doesn’t know if this store has the size for a ring of common size 8-10. Wth? Never come back. Better spend $1000 somewhere with professional service

They told my teenage daughter she could return a gift item to any of their store within 30 days. When we tried to return it in less than 24 hours totally intact and with the receipt they refused to return and insisted they told us it could only be exchanged!!! They flatly refused to give us an email or phone number where we could make an official complaint!

I would recommend taking your business somewhere else. Rude service and liars. Manager was a real piece of work.I got an infinity ring from here and within a few weeks, the first one lost a stone. We got a replacement and the same stone, same area in the NEW ring also fell out. We took it back to get another exchange because obviously there was a problem with manufacturing.The manager accuses us of tampering with the ring and is very rude about it. She sends it away to head office, a month later we ring the store - the manager doesn’t know what ring we’re talking about. She rings us back and says that they’ll give us a refund or exchange and can't tell us what happened to the ring.The same ring in store the following day after the call that had the issues was on clearance. Obviously we were correct about the manufacturing problem and the manager didn’t even apologise to us for the inconvenience and her behaviour.When getting the exchange items the manager tells my partner that the stone fell out of the second ring because we bumped it. Well, previously she had said it had been misplaced on the phone call. So, she’s a liar and was very rude about having $1 credit left.To whomever responds to this from the store, don’t bother. We have our facts and don’t want to hear your excuses. Instead of wasting time replying to this, you should use that time on fixing your customer service so you don’t lose any more customers. Absolutely ridiculous.

Don't know anything, says no common-sense things. Takes 5-10 minutes to find price. Walked in there with a gift receipt to exchange for my wife then the manager/middle age lady goes to me you realise this is a ladies watch?" ... like seriously you think I don't know what I'm exchanging?"

This is a good jewelry store with wide range of jewellery to chose from,Located on the ground floor of Burwood Westfield Shopping Center.The store is currently offering 50% off selected items.

Worst customer service ever. Rude employees that are liars.
