If you're trying to get faster and transfer power, turns out a quality bike fit and quality shoes can make all the difference.Shimano RC7 shoes along with the Shimano in soles have managed to align heel, knee and hip.A big thanks to Paul and Gabe for all the fine tuning to getting the most out of my riding position.

Second ReviewI recently had a bike accident. Gabe was amazing. On the day of the accident he advised me what I should do. He quickly did a bike assessment and coached me through the options of what I needed to do. I received my new bike this week and rode it today for the first time. I felt very well looked after by Gabe and his team and also the Urban Pedaler cycling community who supported me through my recovery by keeping in touch and giving me tips on how to get ‘back on the bike’ once my recovery was over.Thank you once again Gabe, team and community. We also asked Gabe to help us with a bike rack for our car that holds four bikes for our family. Liaising with Gabe and the team has been the most exceptional retail experience I have ever received. They helped me and my family with everything we needed and they exceeded our expectations every step of the way. From: getting ‘fitted correctly’ up front; working through the best bikes and accessories we needed to get started; teaching me how to ride my bike confidently; teaching me how to change a flat tyre; and allowing me to practice my ‘clip on‘ shoes in the store before getting out on the road. I am now riding and enjoying my new bike consistently and we have set ourselves up so we can ride every weekend as a family. You won't find a better bike store in Melbourne. I did a Bike Fit in-store with Paul Davis and he was super helpful, extremely knowledgable and generally an affable bloke who has helped me take my riding to the next level. Gabe, Charlie and the team are much the same and their experience and passion for riding manifests in helping customers of all levels and growing the riding community sans the condescension you might experience at a number of other stores around Australia.I've just ordered a new bike with them and can't wait to utilise their talents and resources in putting it together and maximising my riding capabilities.

I've had recent dealings with Paul for a bike fit and Gabe who organised quick turnaround for a service and sourcing parts for an impending European trip .Cannot recommend them highly enough ! Knowledgeable ,efficient and accomodating.Glad I've found them !

I had a bike fit done a few months ago as I wasn't able to get a fit due to lockdowns! I had been riding and experiencing discomfort in my neck, lower back and seemed to have constant niggles with hamstrings, calves which seemed all on high rotation. I knew I needed to change something, but wasn't really sure where to start! I shopped around to source a bike fit and found that this service one of the most comprehensive and best value.Paul Davis was great, he took a comprehensive history of my ailments and a thorough analysis of my biomechanics.The Guru Bike made the bike fitting very intuitive as Paul could change the settings from his iPad whilst I was riding to tweak the set up and find the best position in real time. There is a spacious area set up to complete the fit within the shop. He had a selection of many components such as head stem, saddle, handle bars to try during the fit which is great as previously I had a bike set up assessment from a physio which was ok to assess the body and angles however without the components that fit was very limited.Recently my knee flared up due to increased training and I booked in for a quick check and have subsequently Paul has placed a spacer under one cleat and adjustment my saddle angle slightly and the pain is easing off which is terrific.I recently did a 850km charity bike ride around Tasmania in a week which I do not think I would have been able to accomplish if I did not have my bike correctly fitted.All the staff, Gabe, Murray are also really friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone who is not 100% comfortable on the bike to get your set up reviewed as soon as possible.I can't thank you all enough for getting me back on track!

Gabe went above and beyond helping me find a bike rack that a) would hold at least two e-mtbs and b) would tilt down far enough from a very high hitch to allow a super short person to be able to lift said heavy e-mtb onto the rack. He even went as far as lending me his personal rack to see if it would suit. Alas, it didn’t, but he did sort me out with a Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 rack which tilts down enough for me to lift my bike onto and is super easy hitch and unhitch. Highly recommend this store for all your biking needs!!!

Had a bike fit done as I’m new to cycling and wanted to have a good starting point to reference from.The guys there are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the experience felt completely tailored to my experience level. I’m feeling confident and comfortable with the changes they’ve made to my bike as a result.They were also helpful with training drills, advice and are just generally very approachable. Felt a bit like talking to friends more than typical sales staff.If you’re just getting into it, I don’t think there’s a better place to go for your bike, equipment, fitting or advice.
