Qii House Lorne

Had a terrible experience with the host. Booked a tiny house for a romantic weekend with my partner. The bed frame broke while we were sleeping, this would have been no big deal, but the host was so unprofessional in her handling of the situation. We just wanted to know whether she could help us with the bed or whether we needed to make other arrangements for the night, we wanted to enjoy some very rare time away from our kids together and instead of relaxing in the forest we were hassled continuously with phone calls and messages from the host accusing us of sneaking a third person into the accommodation thus breaking the bed! She made inappropriate comments about our weight! (We are not overweight, I can only imagine how bad this would have been if we were), she couldn't give us an answer about whether we would have an alternative bed arranged for the rest of our stay, she talked endlessly about how she didn't want to have to come down on a weekend, how my partner could fix the bed cos he is a carpenter, unnessessary details about other guests, details on how she is going to fix the bed. It went on and on and was a night mare. She did eventually come to the accommodation and leave us a key to another tiny house, which was great, it would have been better if she had been able to assist without ruining our entire day in the forest first. On another note, the tiny houses are very damp. The mattresses are wet on the bottom, the walls are wet. Poorly designed.

Both Heather and Qii house are an absolute treasure to this world. Heather is a wonderful communicator and each time we were in contact, she was warm, welcoming and very helpful! Her light and energy is always positive.Qii house itself and the tiny homes are such a beautiful way to spend time with loved ones, taking in the rich surrounds of native flora and fauna, lounging in the open spaces and sharing a meal. The meticulously placed art, sculptures and nature walks are just one of the many perks to this property!My partner and I celebrated a very special moment at Qii, surrounded by our closest family and friends which, to our delight was absolutely perfect. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay, relax and celebrate. We will be returning very soon!

Magical place to soak up the rainforest. Beautifully set up with everything you need. Lovely touches. Wonderful place to unwind and relax.

Qii House is a beautiful retreat in the heart of the Otways. The perfect place to unwind and become one with nature. Thanks so much for the stay Heather, myself and the family always love to visit. My children are always talking about visiting 'Heather's Bath' again!

We had a great experience at Qii House recently. The host Heather is lovely and it's easy to communicate with her when we need help anytime. The beautiful house is located in an extraordinary natural destination, the whole site is private and peaceful. We enjoyed everything at Qii House including the architecture, furniture, art collection, nature, spa, private trail and food. Highly recommend this beautiful getaway place and we would love to return and experience different season in the future.

This house was in a fantastic spot and was a great size for our stay. Really enjoyed staying at the property. The view is incredible and there is plenty of space for a big family to sleep and hang out. The most surprising part was the outdoor bath and spa in cold weather;)Heather was a loving, artistic and responsible host who is always available<3Highly recommend this property, especially in the warmer months.

Omg little gem hidden behind Lorne. Cabins to rent and forest walks plus getaway. So serene it is beautiful.

It is just an amazing place to stay. We spent two wonderful and relaxing nights at Qii House, which is surrounded by the forest. It got everything we need, a big deck, BBQ, Wooden pizza oven, bath tub etc. The most surprising part is that we can just enjoy the walking trail from the back of the house. Highly recommended!!!
