Eco Sustainable Homes

I reached out to Eco-sustainable Homes for info regarding planning and building of our family home. The first person I spoke to, a lady, was dismissive and appeared to not want to engage in a discussion regarding my inquiry. I called back a few minutes later and spoke to a gentleman who was much pleasant and willing to provide additional information. I completed a summary of our requirements, only to get a call back a week later from the same lady and was told that she had responded to all emails and forgotten mine. I was asked for further information which I provided and was told to wait for a call back shortly. its been a month and I haven't heard from them. Long story short, If a builder is this reluctant to engage before the planning/building begins, how efficient or reliable do you think they will be when it comes to actually completing the job successfully without any defects or hiccups? Definitely will not be pursuing Eco-sustainable Homes. We are taking our business elsewhere

We lived in our first home that we had built for us for 50 years. Our new home that Eco Sustainable Homes designed and built for us is as close as I can imagine to be perfect for us. Lyn & Tony did a magnificent job of no only designing a house to suit all our wants and desires, including being solar passive, but within budget and timeframe. We have a very high quality home that we love.

We first came across Eco Sustainable Homes when beginning to look for inspiration for building a new home and were impressed with their projects, values & commitment to sustainability.The initial meetings with Tony and Lyn were focused around us as clients - who we were as a family, how we spent our time and what we enjoyed about living in the bush. And from then, the entire building process continued to focus around us, with Tony and Lyn striving to ensure our home was uniquely functional and stylized to our family’s needs and wants, all the while exemplifying a high standard of workmanship, work ethic and professionalism. An example of this ‘commitment to client’ was after an initial floor plan was presented to us. During our deliberation period Lyn rang saying she had formed a new idea for the layout of the house which could prove more functional for our family. She redesigned, and as a result the amended plan is the house we now live in. This is an example of Lyn and Tony’s commitment and dedication to their work - they were as invested in our new home as we were, going above and beyond to ensure maximum functionality and satisfaction.Living in our new home is a joy. The workmanship is excellent, the solar passive performance outstanding and the unique design ‘fits’ perfectly in our environment and with our lifestyle. After doing lots of research about sustainable and comfortable home-building, we ended up engaging Lyn & Tony at Eco Sustainable Homes to build our home in central Victoria. From start to finish, Lyn & Tony have been exactly the kind of people you'd want to entrust such a big emotional and financial investment with. We have lived in our home for 9 months now and absolutely love what they have created for us. Our home is incredibly beautiful, comfortable, efficient, and built to last.
