Guitar Tutoring Launceston

I did 10 lessons with Brandon and quite enjoyed the experience. It has been 20+ years since I last took lessons (in Sydney) so I am reclaiming my youth - did I mention that I am 78 years of age? Getting back into reading music didn't take as long as I thought. Brandon was very good at listening and suggesting improvements and he set homework that I diligently applied myself to with the result that I can now actually play real tunes, following the musical notation. My goal was to play Apache by the Shadows and with Brandon's help I made good inroads into the tune until I had to put that aside to concentrate on some 'interesting' new notes way down the fret board. This is someplace that I had not been to before so was all new. Because of the regimen that I applied myself to (1-hour per day) I am continuing it but am playing to myself and every now and then going back over the exercises that Brandon gave me, so it is all very valuable music. I am happy to say that I am making good progress on my own but may just go back to Brandon when I decide that I want to accomplish chords - something that is scaring me off at this stage!

Very chilled experience with an expert teacher. I already had a small amount of guitar under my belt but was very much a beginner. Custom lesson plan was designed for me and I’m making very obvious progress. Would highly recommend!

Brandon is honestly an absolute legend to work with and learn from! I’ve tried other places and other people and he just makes it so easy to learn in a great space and a comfortable environment. Always willing to answer any questions and have a laugh along the way. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
