Sandstone Point Hotel
Waited 1 hr in line just to order food at the new oyster shed, then waited another hour to receive food, so if you want lunch by midday I suggest going and ordering by 10am. They have two registers at the counter but only used one, the line was massive, didn’t eat lunch till 2:30 after lining up to order at midday!

Sandstone Point Hotel
Great place to come and eat, has so much for the children to do. The playground is amazing. All the lights around the place makes the place feel magical when the sun's down. Such a great place. Owners have really thought about it with the children in mind when coming up with this amazing place. Highly recommend it.Food was yummy, prices we're great and coffee was great. Would definitely be back here.

Staff scanning ID at the front are rude. Letting random people through who are definitely under 18. You scan all IDs or you scan none otherwise it defeats the purpose of scanning ID to track who comes in and create a safe environment. Every year there are minors that don’t get their ID checked and they then have open access to the bars, this year was no different.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Sandstone Point Hotel. We chose to dine here following our wedding ceremony. While the food was delicious and the service on point, my only feedback is regarding the app to order from kitchen to table. The majority of the menu items on the app were listed as NOT AVAILABLE so the selection from the menu via the app was very slim. However, we still enjoyed a delicious meal in a wonderful atmosphere with a beautiful view.I would definitely dine here again but I would be more inclined to order from the counter rather than from my table via the app.Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. ❤️

We attended a wedding recently. Beautiful, idyllic spot and perfect weather. After the wedding we relaxed at the bar and ordered some food (delicious calamari and sweet potato fries) and then headed to the Oyster Bar for the reception. This has been recently renovated and they have done a fantastic job. Beautifully decorated with waterfront location. Perfect for groups and couples. The service cold not be faulted and a big thank you to the lovely wait staff who mended my shoe.

Great location with an awesome view of the water. Service was good and the food was delicious.The bird life (bin chickens) did get into the rubbish on the empty tables but they don't bother you while you're eating.

Massive venue with so much space they can set up a rodeo or concert. The hotel itself looks great with high quality finishes . It is located along the front of the water, and also has a restaurant on the water edge.

Came here to have lunch for a friend's birthday. Everything was going well until the end.Another friend ordered a pot of tea and after half hour we still have not received it. At this point we were all ready to head out and everyone finished their dessert so he asked for a refund after bringing it to their attention.The lady, don't know if she was a manager or supervisor or what, was incredibly annoyed our friend wanted a refund instead of further waiting for the pot of tea.She came to our table with a very disgruntled look and gave our friend $4.50 and walked away. No apologies, didn't confirm if it was a cup or pot of tea that was ordered, no acknowledgement.Incredibly rude considering the staff made the mistake and forgot to brew a pot of tea for 30 minutes. Our friend didn't even want to bother or cause a scene and just wanted to walk around outdoors with his wife and keep the mood positive. The pot of tea was for his wife, whom we were celebrating her birthday, and whom also has terminal cancer.Regardless of our experience before this, that left a very bad impression and we will never be going back. All over a $4.50 refund when your staff made the mistake and then your other staff was incredibly rude.
