An exquisite place to have brunch with spectacular views of the ocean. Pleasant indoor, outdoor dining and an option to take away and sit on the garden infront. Pleasant ambience with good staff service, we enjoyed our time here. I had veg mushroom arachini salad and was very tasty. However option for Veg and vegan meals were limited. The only down was the extra bread option wasn't as satisfying for the price charged. The portion for chips is quite small but worth it as it is onky charged $5 for regular and $7 for sweetpotato fries.

Stopped in here around 3pm and they were nice enough to let us order so e food (as they shut at 4pm). Beautiful outlook on the beach (with a few very brave souls swimming!) and the service was excellent. Food was also quite good. Definitely recommend it.

My wife and I went to Drift cafe on a morning spent in Devonport. The general vibe of the place is right up our street.The atmosphere was lovely and the view from inside or outside is stunning.I ordered the bacon and egg sourdough toast simply because there was no bacon and egg roll. I can’t mark a place down for not having something I wanted, but a bacon and egg roll feels like a staple that I had just assumed every cafe would serve. I stand corrected.It arrived in around 10 minutes and it was average at best. The bacon/egg to bread ratio is off. It didn’t feel like it was as full as anything similar I’ve had in other cafes, and I’ve had a fair few. The egg was a little over cooked, but by the time the food arrived (it didn’t take very long) it felt as though the egg was only over cooked because it had been sat waiting for a bit of time before it got to me. It was odd. I’ve knocked a star off the rating because of this.My wife ordered the brioche French toast which was $23. It’s not often I mention the price in this part because you can see it in the photo I upload, but I mention it because there was only one slice of toast. Similar to the bacon and egg, it felt as though the amount of food for the price was not even close to the same as you’d get at other cafes. The price did not match the food. Knocked another star off.Aside from this it was good. Coffee was decent, service was lovely, the place was clean and really nice decor.Would I come here again? Probably not, but if you haven’t been, I’d probably still recommend it.

Great cafe for brunch. Tried egg Benedict and the steak sandwich. I would recommend this cafe for my friends.Only one thing I would like to suggest is: if the portion size more larger than current, it would be the best.

What a find, very few places available in Devonport on a Sunday morning.This cafe at Mersey Bluff was the equal of many in other places; but they have a beach, playground and lighthouse!Great service, quick delivery of our orders and everything tasted great. Fresh ingredients shone through and went well with the coffee blend.

Perfect start to the day after the trip over on the Spirit of Tasmania. We enjoyed the beautiful views across the bay with the sun sparkling on the water and watching the locals brave enough to go in for a swim. Food was delicious, especially the Scottsdale pork thick cut maple bacon. Coffee hit the mark too. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed a sunrise breakfast at Drift right after stepping off the SOT. The coffee and service were pretty good. Location is absolutely amazing. The food was delicious but just fell short on the serving size for us. My breakfast was described as “waffles” only to be served as a waffle. Considering the price point we expected a little more on the plate.
