Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
I stopped here on the way back from Hobart just the other day to use the conveniences and have a short rest. There is plenty of space and some shady spots to park too! Nice grassy areas, tables and picnic facilities. There is a small running stream and plenty of space to strech the legs. Very safe place to pull of the main highway with security cameras.

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
Disgusting. The disabled toilet was horrid, the bowl full of poo to near overflowing, basically unusable. How are people in wheelchairs or with other mobility issues supposed to use this facility? Obviously not cleaned very regularly. Is the cleaner on holidays? Other facilities on route were very clean and tidy, Campbelltown and Ross for example. Must be under control of a different council. Southern Midlands council if this is your responsibility then you need to lift your game, no where near good enough.

Great little rest area to stop and stretch. Clean toilet facilities whenever I've been. Covered picnic and BBQ areas. Little walking track up hill as well. Note the topiaries! Campers can find a quiet spot for a quick nap as well!

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
Nice lawn area to rest relax before continuing driving. Toilets are not the cleanest, and feel quite old. If you have to go toilet on the way hold it till Ross :) nice new clean toilets behind the hall. A bit of a pain to access this area with all the road works going on.

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
Disappointing. For such an extremely important location on the Midland Highway I'm appalled with the amenities present. The toilets are severely dated and unmaintained, almost unusable. But I will say the space surrounding the toilets is fine, by far the best part is the park and the river. Overall Saint Peter's Pass Rest Area is an extremely lacklustre rest area, and I recommend stopping in Oatlands for access to better quality amenities.

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
Stopped here twice to break longer runs. Not level but close enough, toilet at the top. We stayed down the hill away from the quick stop travelling public.

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
It's a common pit stop travelling between the states northern and southern cities. It's a very neat and tidy park area with plenty of parking

Saint Peters Pass Rest Area
A secluded rest stop just north of Oatlands, old stone shelter with tables for a quick break whilst travelling the Midlands. Stone walls and high hedges cut isolate from the highway noise which is great. A big open grass area for a picnic with running stream and shaped bushes to keep you company. There are toilets on site but it's pot luck as to the cleanliness. Sometimes clean, other times they can be pretty grotty.
