Buyer bewareDo not use Jenny or her contractors.I had the same experience as Vera Carr.I few months after I moved into our new home the floor began to lift.I asked Jenny to come back and inspect the floor that was liftingI was told “we will dig out the affected areas and reinstall flooring in that area with extra glue, then we will put heavy weights on the area to hold down”This was not a satisfactory solution for us.I decided to go to NCAT - courtWe both got independent assessments on the floor and it was found that the process in which the floor was laid was incorrect.Lucky Timber floor used a “Sika” glue and did not trowel glue the floor as per the installation guide.After a year in court Lucky Timber Floor was ordered to pay to remove and replace the floor throughout our home.This was the most stressful part of our build.If you use Lucky Timber Floor expect problems.

Lucky Timber Floors recently completed repair, patching, sanding and polishing of our timber floors. They took great care and we are very happy with the finished floors which look beautiful.

Like other reviewers our job ended in a dispute having to be resolved with NCAT orders.To start the finish applied by Lucky Floors dried uneven. When we asked for this to be fixed Lucky applied oil over the floor. The oil did nothing but leave us with an oily mess, so we had to move into a hotel for a week for Lucky to re-sand and refinish the floor.We then performed painting works and applied painters masking tape to the floor, on removing the masking tape the floor finish peeled off. We took this to NCAT as Lucky refused all of my offers of mediation.The tribunal member found the works were not to Australian Standards, or of an acceptable standard and ordered Lucky Timber Floors to refund the cost of the defective works.Lucky then asked to pay our refund over a six month window, it was only when I advised I would apply for Court orders that the refund was sent.

Lucky Timber Floor has done a great job for me, as a flooring contractor. I could never think that my office concrete floor can look that good. I have experienced their brilliance and professionalism for the project. They have given a new look to my office. Now I love being here.

Excellent service , product and workmanship and fairly priced. We would certainly use Lucky Timber Floor again and highly recommend this hard working company.

In our experience, Lucky Timber was most unsatisfactory. A few months after our floors were laid, the timber expanded and lifted. We called the company. Their solution was to slice out a narrow section near the wall and nail the boards which had lifted again from the concrete base. Naturally, this merely shifted the problem and the further section of floor lifted up in a giant arch and broke the skirting board.When we called again, the company refused to take any further responsibility for their workmanship. Their representative seemed utterly oblivious to our argument that they had omitted to put in adequate expansion gaps. If we wanted them to correct their earlier work, we would have to pay more thousands of dollars.Having lost all confidence in Lucky Timber, we engaged another builder and floor specialist to relay the damaged section of the floor. It cost us some thousands of dollars but we finally had a satisfactory job done.We would not recommend Lucky Timber to anyone.

Lucky if you don't...Unlucky if you already did.Not sure how other reviewers gave these guys 4 or 5 stars.Lucky Timber floors are not professional installers. The only thing they have going for them is one guy who knows how to cut the flooring. But forget about the rest. If you happen to identify any issues post installation then don't expect them to fix it. As long as they have been paid they will have already moved on to the next job. So warranty issues - good luckAlso they don't speak English very well. However, if you are able to speak Mandarin or Cantonese perhaps you will receive better service and have your concerns attended to accordingly.Will not be recommending them - i'm sure other flooring companies may be just as bad or worse.but it doesn't mean these guys are any better either.
