In my opinion Thetford provides some of the best service and support I have ever encountered. I rang them with a problem with our Thetford Toilet. Not only did Ian (customer Support) solve our problem, he provided us with a more then generous solution. I especially enjoyed his sense of humour. Thanks again Ian for your assistance. Unfortunately because we did not have a copy of the warranty and after no answers from the Thetford technicians we went a head and purchased a Dometic Fridge for our RV the original was still under warranty but the Thetford company told us that it the thetford was not for storing medication in it and because we did not follow protocol that they would not reimburse any more than $150.00 of the 5k it cost us to replace it what a bum company but they do make good toilets

I recently needed a replacement hinge pin for one of the outer hatch doors on our caravan. I was disgusted that I had to pay $11.00 for ONE Thetford brand plastic hinge pin, similar to a standard metal nail. The retailer advised that the markup was only $2.00, so SOMEONE is making a lot of money out of these essential items. Shame on you Thetford!

Purchased the fridge just on 3 years ago . Just spent $500.00 on repairs and it's still not operating . I have contacted Thetford a CPL of months ago but they didn't reply . Now it's going to cost mega $$$ to fixNot worth spending more moneyWill never buy Thetford products again .

Thetford provides some of the best service and support I have ever encountered from any organisation. Ian (Thetford Service Dept) is knowledgeable, understanding, and especially helpful. The Thetford toilet is a very good product, and backed up by this service, you can't go wrong in my opinion.

Bought a new van with a thetford fridge won’t work on gas carnt get it fixed locally they said just go on holiday and it fixed along the way as they won’t pay for someone to come fix it last thetford product I will own

We have had our caravan for a little over 5.6 years. The first fridge did not work correctly for the first two plus years. It went for repairs approx 6 times and left us without the use of a fridge on many occasions. During this time under warranty we had to pay for one repair ourselves as Thetford neglected to provide paperwork to repair department. Finally the fridge was replaced by Thetford and then three years and 6 weeks later the fridge packs up altogether. I rang Thetford and told from description it wouldn’t be able to be repaired. Then they said, it’s six weeks out of warranty so there is nothing we can do to help you. You will have to replace at your own cost. Two fridges in five and half years is totally unacceptable. Over $3700 to replace. Thumbs down to Thetford.

We have experienced problems with our fridge for 18 months and thetford have tried to fix it at least 6 times until finally giving us a brand new updated fridge. We could not speak highly enough of the service we received from thetford.
