Australia Post - Welland LPO

New franchisees seemed all right at first - but don't challenge or question anything - one guy was so rude to me recently. There had been a major stuff up and a parcel I had addressed to Germany ended up with a label on it to a London address I was posting a second parcel to. Both parcels ended up at the London address and it's cost me a fortune to have it redirected!! Post Office guy was taking absolutely no responsibility for a label being put over the German address on the box!! I sure know I didn't put it there !! i will be avoiding this PO at all costs!

The male staff have terrible attitudes for working in customer service. They constantly mess up the po boxes. Australia post should be ashamed of themselves. I advise to go elsewhere for compentant customer service.

Dear Mr S….I know you have been worked in banks but please don’t give wrong information to people. Make sure you get proper information before commenting on someone’s work. As we came for lender verification and you mentioned we are not eligible for home loan as we are not Australian citizens. Please make sure you focus on your work and training before you provide wrong information to someone. Also, just wanted to let you know our verifications was successfully completed at other Australia post.

Unfair treatment of non-verbal disabled person. After following the queue and getting to the counter with my nonverbal friend, they made us wait on the side while they served everyone else. When I complained about us waiting, they said that we could go somewhere else if we can’t wait.

Would give NO STAR if i could. I think if people with PO Boxes moved their business from Welland to a different office , these nasty men would have to quickly shut up shop. Notice so few people use them now-a-days, hence their main income could be their PO Box income. You can actually see them smiling when they behave in their child-like manner. Maybe Australia Post Head Office should have Medical Examinations for owners/staff who exhibit possible psychiatric issues.

If I could give this store a zero star I would. I never write reviews but this experience was beyond ridiculous. Shocking customer service, I asked politely if I could get a fragile sticker on one of my packages as all the other post offices I have been to have put one on there without an issue. Older guy was completely rude about it and refused saying that post offices don't do that"

Went into the post office today and was greeted with an updated interior and FANTASTIC customer service. I’m so glad to see it! Collecting packages is going to be a very happy experience! Thank you again.

I'm surprised for all the negative reviews as I found the 2 men and older lady that work there lovely. The more they get to know you the more they warm to you I've noticed also. The younger girl that works there can be a bit short with you and look at you when you ask a question like your asking something unheard of which is a bit unsettling but shes hardly ever there only afternoons so it's not so bad. But overall I think the usual staff there are very nice and always eager to help you with cheaper postage options and your queries.

I have never had a good experience going to this post office in 5 years I have had the need to use it. This time was not the exception. I had an appointment booking for two people and the guy decided that he was only helping one of us. I have contacted AU Post directly because either their booking system doesn't work properly, they have failed to convey the message to the post office operators or if none of this, then the change of hands at Welland post did not come with a change of mindset. They are still as bad as they were before.

Local.Old owner Leslie was always tolerable and nice..... new owners are a nightmare.The first time I came in, the new owners seemed happy.... since then, it's just gone downhill! My worst experience has to be that I had to run and pick up a package back in late September, I got there two minutes after closing, and another customer was still in there. They had the shutters down while serving the customer inside.Normally I wouldn't leave it that late, but my day had been totally crazy and I needed that parcel!I stood for about 2 minutes waiting for them to let me in quickly, I was blatantly ignored, so I knocked on the shutters and the guy behind the counter looked up and just shook his head at me.I was so annoyed as it would have taken less than a minute to give me my package.Staff are rude and clearly lack customer service skills.I avoid this place unless a parcel is dropped off here, it instantly ruins my mood.
