Just 5 mins walk from the Monash Campus, the Mr. Sister Cafe is a laid back place and has a dog-friendly setting. We reached around 11:45 and it was almost empty since the brunch time was about to be over. There was a lot of space to sit, even had high chair seating as well. We decided to sit in the dining area at the back. The staff were very welcoming and always had a smiling face for my camera. We ordered the Smashed Avacado, Potato Rosti, and Zucchini Fritters from the all-day breakfast menu. The quantity was very much enough to fill our hunger pangs. The Smashed Avacado is a vegetarian option right out of the menu and you can add bacon for $4. It also comes in a gluten-free option. There was two medium size toast with smashed avo on top of it. I loved the combination of beetroot hummus. The Potato Rosti, all three of us liked this the most. The pulled beef was yum and the best part was the caramelized apple butter. I find this puree as something so delicious and it went well with all our dishes. I would not be hesitant to ask for more. The Potato Rosti, without a doubt, is a must try in Mr. Sister Cafe.I ordered the Zucchini Fritters and it was fried to perfection. Pistachio and mint pesto was good. I am not a big fan of peas. The lemon labneh, wish it was sweet since I love things being sour and sweet. We were almost about to finish the brunch and out of nowhere bees began to fly near to our food. I guess they also liked the food and its aroma. Fun aside, it was the only bad experience and we even had to change our seating to get rid of the bee attack. The staff obviously couldn't do anything because there were other guests and spraying chemicals will be a bad idea. Overall, it was a good experience and we would love to visit. I wish the smoothies were less expensive and the menu had more non-vegetarian options. The staff was very courteous and kind. Keep up the good work guys.

It was lovely to sit in the outdoor undercover room at Mr Sister. I had the Mr Benedict for brunch. It was delicious, well assembled and served quickly. Cafe latte was good too. Attentive staff and a warm sunny place to sit. Give it a go.

A lovely venue with friendly, hard working staff and a great atmosphere. Food is delicious. We were out back on a long table to celebrate a first birthday. Lots of natural light and big windows. Good fun.

I couldn't remember what the food was like in this cafe because I waited too long for my order to arrive. It wasn't really busy. Plus they have a lot of staffs but nobody came to my table though I tried to notify them at the register.Staffs do not know their menu. They're unsure about coffee orders and what's included in the food. I could have dash-and-go and nobody ever knew.It was not my day here and it's a serious never-come-back.

Guess I was lucky because coffees and meals came very quickly. Coffee was great, chilli eggs and smashed avo toast were yum. They have cosy back yard. They've also brought pencils and paper for a little one to draw, which was really nice.Good place.

Great little Cafe in Malvern East with plenty of space! Staff were friendly and quick to deliver our drinks and take our order. Food was amazing and on our table within 15mins of ordering. I got the potato rosti with pulled beef, poached eggs and added halloumi which was a huge serving for an add-on (See photos). Highly recommend Mr. Sister and will be back again soon.

Nice covered warm area out the back. The food was okay in my opinion. The staff were friendly. Prices were on the slightly higher side.

Great location and good customer service. The food taste is nice but it could have more surprise and innovation. I ordered sauteed mushroom and lemon waffle. Personally, I would expect some crispy leaves in the mushroom dish, so that the dish can have more variety texture. Passtionfruit could be added in the waffle to balance sweetness.
