Before I brought my PS5 to Kyle at TechBuddy, I was unable to play it due to it overheating and randomly turning off on me.I was directed to TechBuddy and Kyle has been nothing but great help! since I have dropped it off, Kyle has been in contact with me talking me through on why my PS5 may be overheating and turning off and providing photos of the issues.Its now working without any overheating or turning off so I can actually have a good game sesh, Kyle also gave it a clean on the inside to get rid of all the dust built up.I highly recommend TechBuddy and will be going here for any tech issues I run into the future.

My son put a hard sticker into the disk drive of my Series X, i took it to JB HIFI and they said best they can do is replace it with a new Xbox for $460, i grudgingly accepted but after 3 weeks i still didn't have my Xbox back so i took it to Kyle (Techbuddy Canberra) he had it fixed in a day for $100 and the internals airdusted and cleaned.Friendly and patient customer service, organised and professional, a detailed explanation of repairs including photos and thorough explanation of what might have been necessary (and the cost) if the sticker had done more damage to the internals before taking the job allowed me to make an informed decision to proceed.5/5 recommend.

I had an issue with my PS5 not outputting a signal through the HDMI port. I contacted Kyle and he told me it was a common issue with the PS5 and explained what had most likely happened to it. After he gave me a quote, I booked the repair in and dropped the console off. Literally a day later it was fixed and ready for collection. Kyle explained everything and showed me photos of the damaged HDMI port that was repaired. This is a guy that clearly knows his stuff and it's great to have access to someone like this locally. For a comparison, the other option was to send it off to Sony for at least twice the cost and wait for it to return in a month or so. I totally recommend Kyle @ TechBuddy and would go straight to him if I had any other problems.
