still waiting for a quote weeks later. no reply to my emails. Tried phoning the store and they promised to get back to me with info about why the delay. Feel like i am being fobbed off. If they don't want your business they should say so, or give you a realistic time frame for a quote.

If they could get a negative I would! They lied about delivery times, responses and got my sizings wrong, were even abusive to me on the phone and never bothered calling back. At least 5 times. They have recut the same piece of glass splashback 2 times and still got it wrong. We asked them to quote for windows and showers but after seeing their performance in action will not use them ever again. We have had them removed as a preferred supplier with our insurers and the builder who used them as a third party resource. They are so arrogant and even when we formalized our complaint to them, they did nothing.

Hayley from Stegbar has been fantastic. I have constantly changed mind, worked around budget. dates and whatever else came up:We are in love with our bifold door and the freedom screen to go with all workmanship great.The installers all polite and professional.Highly recommend Stegbar.We have also had Stegbar doors installed with builtin wardrobes many years ago but exactly same service and still look great.Thankyou again.

I really don't get any satisfaction out of writing poor reviews but Stegbar have caused me so much stress over these past three weeks that I thought I would log on to read if anyone else had had a terrible experience with Stegbar and not surprised but I see there are many bad reviews dating back months ago and still nothing has been done to rectify the complaints despite Stegbar commenting that they would like feedback to make sure things are done better. From the first initial contact with Stegbar I felt the Salesperson was hasty and not as attentive to my requests as he should have been, but it only got worse. I was told that I could have my old shower screen removed and a new one installed side by side but it ended up we went without a shower screen for nearly three weeks after the old screen was taken away. I was told by Stegbar that someone would contact me a week after removal of the old screen to set up a time to install the new one, my installation date was supposedly set, but I didn't hear anything. I waited and waited and eventually contacted them to ask what was going on and they told me that there was a problem with the glass and failed to tell me so I could have been waiting all day for someone to turn up, there is more time out of my schedule that I had to give Stegbar for their incompetency's. I was quite upset and within a day they phoned me and said that the problem was fixed when apparently it was not something that they could fix straight away but miraculously they did, so that seemed very odd! So my installation was moved to the following week and when the installer came after only ten minutes he said I have some bad news for you the bottom rail doesn't fit as someone made an error cutting it so I can't install your screen today. I phoned Stegbar and asked for this to be rectified straight away and I was told that it would take another week just for a small bottom rail to be cut which seemed outrageous. Finally after many many phone calls trying to get a new installation date, as none were forthcoming I was finally given today as my installation date, which I was so relieved. To my dismay after installation and after the technician had left I went to see if the screen was working okay and I found that it had a big wobble in the framework, so every time we open and shut the door the frame sways and wobbles like it is very unsteady. I immediately phoned the Technician and Stegbar to see if the Technician could come straight back to fix it, but I was greeted by what seemed very righteous staff who made me feel like I was being unreasonable and I was told that it is now a warranty issue and I would have to wait two to three days for the warranty claim to go through before it can be fixed, how this could be a warranty claim is beyond me, it was only installed that morning and obviously is the installers error by not stabilising the screen properly. It all just seems absurd. This is just rediculous. Now I have to wait again in good faith for Stegbar to do the right thing and fix this without me feeling like I have to ring them and stay on top of it. This is the worst service from a major company that I have ever experienced. Very dissatisfied, and I feel extremely naive putting my trust in this company that I thought were well established. Do not ever use Stegbar, I should never have contacted them... This has been going on for three weeks now. If I do not get this sorted out or any satisfaction from you I will be going to Fair Trading and lodging a complaint.

One of the worst customer service experience I have had in the past 25 years in the building industry. I needed the shower screen in our ensuite replaced after 22 years. A sales rep came in a few days and measured for the new screen, submitted a quote and agreement. I accepted everything and made full payment for supply and installation.after 2 weeks on Wednesday 10 August a installer came and removed the old screens and failed to install the new screens as the glass size was incorrect. He packed up and left the premises with unfinished and open shower area. He said don't worry it will be fixed by Friday. No one came on Friday. I tried to call the company numerous times but no one would answer the calls. After a week a Craig answered and said mate it will be installed on 22 August. I said we can't use the shower and he said don't worry I will call you back. He never called back. I tried to send emails but the person who had given her email her email bounced back multiple times. On Friday 19 August installer Darren called and said mate I wi8ll be at your place at 9am. On Monday 22 August I receive a call from Craig at 7.15 am saying sorry we can't install today as Dareen called in at 5am and has chest infection and he is sick. at my surprise, At my surprise at 8am Darren drives up to my house and he said mate I will install your shower screen today but I have to wait for the screens to be delivered to him at our house by another driver from the factory.. I told him that Craig said he said he had chest infection. Darren was totally and understandably shocked to her this. At 9.30am the other vehicle arrived and delivered the screen to Darren and left. Darren went upstairs and started the installation. After half an hour or so he came to me and said mate the installation can't be done as the door is made the wrong way. He apologised profusely on behalf of his company and left the premises promising to return the next day to complete the installation. He return the next day and completed the install.This sort of dealings cost me and my wife 3 days of unpaid leave from work and the considerable inconvenience of not having a shower space for 3 weeks. The failure to answer phone calls, no email contact and the lies made me absolutely frustrated with this company. One thing I will say is that the installers are of no fault and have been very professional. It's the administration of the company which shockingly bad.

The experience has been abysmal from the word go. We had 2 showers that required resealing and new screens installed. We opted for an established company to do the sealing. Upon the sales person quoting on the screens, he suggested we don't go with this company and instead go with another business (I suspect a handshake deal is being had between the sales agent and the small business). In any event we utilised the established company and was very happy with the service. Stegbar on the other hand, not so much. The install was done on one shower, however the other shower was not completed as the glass was not measured correctly. Instead of measuring correctly there and then, we had to wait 3 days before installer returned to measure correctly. We were advised of a new install date which was 8 days after the remeasured, or 11 days after the initial install. I was not satisfied with this delay and thankfully we got a revised install of 4 days after the remeasure.The job was marked as complete after the second shower install, however we now notice that the first shower is leaking at the bottom rail. I have contacted the plumber, and sealing company all informing me that it is a result of the poor install of Stegbar. I am still awaiting a response on having the leak rectified after informing them 3 days ago.The company lacks the following: Poor communication, poor attention to detail, bad mouthing other businesses (unjustified) in order to get work with other businesses. If we didn't have a specific shower design that required Stegbar I would have walked away and used another company by now. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this dodgy company at all costs.

I wish I would take all the negative reviews more serious at the time of placing my order and not regret the decision afterwards. If you do not want stress, frustration, waste of time and so on, do yourself a favour and look somewhere else to get your needs.Long story short, customer service is a joke in Stegbar.No one answer their phones and if you are lucky enough and they do, they are so rude, arrogant, uncooperative and unfriendly.They expect customers to pay in full and upfront but expect the minimum.I paid $1,700 for a window at their Fortitude Valley showroom (let alone placing the order was a challenge by itself), the window was delivered almost 6 weeks later with broken panel and no key for the locks. It took me six phone calls to get to the service team, convince them to come over and replace the broken panel. They are also that cheap that they refused to post me the key via express post (mailed via regular post and no tracking number).I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO STEGBAR AGAIN.

If you're looking for customer service, work done on time, correct product supplied and installed, your calls and emails answered, don't use Stegbar. They are literally the worst company I've dealt with for incompetence, lack of communication and treating the customer like they're doing me a favour because they bothered to turn up, on the wrong day with the wrong product

Scheduled a service immediately after the house handover and two months later, got a canceled appointment without any notification and was told the next appointment is going to be a month later. Cannot set a time frame for the warranty service. I would highly advise not to use them.
