First Grammar Gumnut Drive

First Grammar Gumnut Drive is an amazing centre, from the welcome as you enter the foyer, to the care and meals the staff provide to the goodbye at the end of the day everything is great. They’ve been absolutely fantastic with my sometimes challenging daughters (ASD & type 1 diabetes) but the centre manager and educators were up for the challenge and educated themselves to give my girls the best care possible. I highly recommend this centre and will be very sad when it’s our time to say goodbye.

My son first attended a different child care centre in the area, we had some concerns with the way the centre was run and tried him in First Grammar in Langwarrin. We have been extremely happy with the way he is looked after and educated, we are extremely happy with management and staff. Our 1 year old daughter now also attends as well

My son has a physical disability and Cathy (manager) treated us like we were a nothing but a problem. Rude and instead of helping just presented more problems. A day before my son was due to start (& me start my new job) she cancelled us stating we needed further (impossible) paperwork to be done. Very disappointed :(

My two daughters are going to tmfirst grammar Gumnut drive. I can’t express how much impressed I am with this centre. Dilhara the centre manager just amazing. I can’t even forget to tell another name Melissa. All the educators are just amazing, I would say if you want care and education as a combo please choose this centre because I could see the changes in my babies. Thanks for taking care of our babies.

Extremely happy with centre. Whilst the centre is a bit older than others in the area it is very welcoming, organised and neat. It is a smaller centre which does make it a little more 'homely'. The staff have been absolutely amazing as my 9 month old began care. The app they have is updated multiple times a day with nappy changes, food, sleep, suncreen etc. and daily photos - these updates are so helpful & reassuring whilst at work. Staff within the nursey room and other rooms take time to get to know my son, provide high quality care and after only a few week he has settled into daycare/is so happy in the environment. There is always a calm vibe when picking up and dropping off, I definitely recommend this centre.

My son has been attending since he was 5 months old and is now nearly three. The educators have always been nurturing, knowledgeable and the centre support staff and management are also amazing and accommodating; nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this centre!

This long daycare/ kinder is absolutely amazing. From the meals to the staff to the facilities and equipment. Both my children have attended here. mu eldest is 10 and youngest 3 so we've been here a while. I highly recommend to anyone needing long daycare. As a working mum I use to worry about leaving my children from such a young age but I have to say I wouldn't have had it any other way. The care the children receive and the individual attention is brilliant. Staff always have a smile on their face and so much love and care for the children in their care. This place also goes above and beyond when it comes to ensuring the kids are not only well cared for but also entertained and stimulated throughout the long day. I can't tell you how often I've struggled to get my children out of the place even when they have been there for 8 hours. I am also continually surprised by how much my daughter has learnt through all the incidental play that goes on but above all she is the most socially happy child and I really attribute a lot of that to gumnut drive. I give this daycare 100/10. To top it all off we have just come home from the annual Christmas party. Santa, pony rides, face painting, food and family. What more can you ask for. I see the feedback people left have been great however my experience with this centre has been the complete opposite. Cathy treated me like I was a nobody and was outright rude hence why I was rude back. Just like the other staff was. I would pick my son up and he would have snot all over his face and dirty hands and face but she says that he entered into daycare like this. His face was always clean. So glad I took photos of the incidents she is referring too.

Had my first son in care at this centre and he had alot of health issues. The team were very accommodating for him and now my youngest in enjoying his second week there. Fantastic centre, minimal staff changes and the kids are always wanting to go.
