Coolbellup Barber Shop

We took our two young boys there for a hair cut and were charged more than the written price advertised. We were then told to pay in cash. We paid $60 in cash. Not impressed, false advertising and what seemed a tax dodge.Won’t be returning again.

Very comfortable atmosphere and the barber made sure I was satisfied, he took care and checked that I was happy with all aspects of the cut. Was also surprised at the great value.

Went here today and definitely wont be back. Its simple, all I asked is skin low fade and blend it nicely. First mistake he did, the lining he did to determine the fade on both sides is not balanced. After correcting him still unable to do a blend fade, I even said blend it nicely and I dont want it to look disconnected and a big contrast between the skin and hair. He tried again to fix it but just unable to do the job. Honestly why would you hire a barber like that? Waste of money and poor quality.

Coolbellup barber shop is tucked away inside the cosy Coolbellup shopping centre. The sign outside sits above a vacant shop, so be sure to make your way inside the shopping centre to find the barber shop. They open bright and early on a Saturday which is perfect for weekday workers and the barber was both friendly and experienced. He did mention he only works Friday and Saturdays, so can’t say much about any of the other barbers. I would recommend Coolbellup Barber Shop to family and friends, but am hesitant because I don’t want this friendly and cosy barber shop getting too busy as wait times are excellent. Had a basic haircut for $25, and the barber took his time and did an excellent job. Be sure to pop by if you’re in the area.

I have had my hair cut here for 20 years! I wouldn't go anywhere else, a good old fashioned barbershop.
