CouchGuard

Ordered a replacement cable and trigger handle for a single armchair, bought about 11 years ago (originally from Super-B-Mart so no model/part number). CouchGuard's online catalogue was very clear and made identifying the correct size easy. The part arrived within a few days and was easy to install. The chair's recliner/footrest action is now smoother than before and I've got my comfy spot back, in time for the weekend.

I've used CouchGuard leather colour to rejuvenate a near 30 year old chair and lounge and restore a vintage Moran lounge. The process is very easy and the results have been fantastic. I've even used the colours to give my shoes a fresh face! Very pleased with all the results.

I purchased Recliner Small Black Handles & Cables. The instruction videos on website were very easy to follow and installation went surprisingly well. The 10-year-old recliner couches that I thought were a right-off, are now working as if they were new again thanks to the spare parts and prompt delivery.

I highly recommend Couchguard, their products are quality that I’ve proven over time.Our corner leather lounge was in great condition other than scratches and a hole, so I decided to repair it instead of spending thousands $ on a new lounge! Its been over a year since I painted my leather lounge with a few coats of Permi Rub in the same colour, satin black. It hasn’t cracked or peeled, just looks just the same since I painted it, I’m impressed! The lounge has been well used since painting, and is wiped every week at least with leather wipes as it’s undercover in the shade on our patio.The painting preparation as detailed on the website is crucial. I watched the video on how to use the products, easy! I bought a kit which gave me everything I needed, I bought extra Permi Rub because it was a large lounge and I wanted to do a few coats. I filled the scratches and holes, sanded, and used a regular size, fine, soft professional paintbrush putting on 1 generous but not heavy coat as it was hot weather was drying too quickly. Then 2 more coats on seats and arms.Have a go, save $$$.

This product (fabric protection) has been a game changer in my household. With pets, kids and a husband who loves to eat on the couch; this product has made our lives so much easier. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t smell. And no aerosols, unlike some products on the market. I also had to use the spot cleaner once and it was just as easy. Instructions are pretty easy to follow. All in all, great products. And great customer service.

Locally, I couldn't buy a new spring for my recliner. CouchGuard have a great range and it was easy to find what I needed. It's great to be able to repair an item instead of having to get rid of it - it's what we need to be able to do in this day and age, when the accent is on recycling and reusing. Highly recommend them for spare parts.

I wanted to fix an ugly tear in a leather chair. The web site made it clear that leather damaged like this is not a very good candidate for a repair. However, I only wanted it to hold together, so I stubbornly forged ahead. The repair kit I bought was fantastically well packed. I admired the use of the inside of the box to offer all instructions. My result was quite acceptable! Not invisible, but I wasn’t expecting that. I’m happy to say, there’s enough of everything in my (small) kit to do the whole thing over again.

We had an unsightly white mark caused by hand sanitiser on the seat of our black leather couch.
