Very good coffee. Quite a wait for food due to limited staff, apparently, but the tables and chairs on the lawn sweeten the wait on a sunny day. Service, though slow, is friendly and welcoming.

Spotted this lovely old building whilst out for early morning walkies & popped into the cafe for a lovely light lunch later in the day. Then spent an hour or so viewing the galleries & the Rio Vista historic house, which had been in the Chaffey family & is now heritage listed.Loved it all, and the staff were lovely & helpful too.

Honestly, such a vibe. Not far from home, has a beautiful café. Font area is beautiful and super relaxing. Love the location of this area in Mildura - wouldn't want to live anywhere else in this city.

Rio Vista is a historic manor now restored with a harmonious colour scheme, great workmanship and attention to detail. The fountain and landscaping just adds to the authenticity and though the old and new buildings of the complex are connected, they are kept visually separate. This was a chance encounter, staying close by.We had a river cruise booked so did not have time to explore the rest of the centre, still the Rio Vista remains the highlight of our latest stay in Mildura and fits into the historic theme of paddle steamers, Psyche pump and the homestead walk.Next time.

Great place to visit to see rural arts and history. The only thing staffs at the reception and foyer are not friendly enough and we didn't feel welcome at the arts centre.

If you are looking for art, you won't find it at the Mildura Arts Centre. There are exhibition spaces on the ground, first and second floors. When we visited, the ground floor was closed. The installations on the first and second floors were not great. You will most likely find better art displays at your local secondary school.I realise the exhibitions change from time to time but seriously? Is this the best you can offer? The art on the wall alongside the cafe was more inspiring. It was a few small Albert Namatjira prints (see photos). This was the second time be have visited Mildura's 'art gallery'. The other time was in 2013.The view from the cafe was quite pleasant (see photo). A nice spot for a quick bite. While part of the same complex, I will review Rio Vista House separately as it is worth a visit.
