The place is nice and good customer service. But food is overrated.There is too much butter and soaf in food that you cannot taste anything.Food is not good. No difference in dishes everything have same stuffing.

Had brunch/lunch here in the courtyard out the back. Courtyard is dog friendly and comfy. Really great Mexican inspired food, we had the Chicken bowl and a burrito. It was really fresh and had great portions. The coffee was also fantastic and they had some reasonably priced magaritas as well.

I liked this place alot! Delicious Mexican inspired breakfast, great coffee, attentive service, heated and covered outdoor dining area. Will be back again for sure!

Little Tienda Thornbury
Little Tienda translates into little store, and that is exactly what it is. Except, it is a little special. Despite its look from outside, the cafe can accommodate quite a number of people with a courtyard at the back. With four staffs handling both eat in and t/a orders, you'd have to wait a bit to get your order (although it's worth the wait). There are several mexican dishes on the menu and you can see them being cooked to order through their open kitchen. I tried Chilaquiles for the first time after the staff's recommendation and it was fabulous. Another plus is that most dishes are pretty affordable compared to other cafes. Highly recommended!

Good coffee, good vibes, great breakfast salad. The only suggestion I would have is ditch the fennel seasoning (a little overpowering for my liking!)

I just moved to the area and everything feels weird. Moving house stressed me out and I've been unnecessarily cranky with my partner. Living out of boxes and have no idea where the plates are. Bathroom sink is leaking and real estate agent isn't responding. It's meant to be summer but the weather is lousy. Son started school yesterday and all the other parents intimidate me because they seem to have their lives together. Feeling anxious, upside down and back to front. Walked into Little Tienda with my son and the world suddenly made sense again. Food (ham and cheese croissant and special bagel) was unreal. Coffee was a solid 9.5/10. Staff we're all so friendly (amazing touch when people refer to you by your name throughout the whole experience). Sat on the couch with a full and happy belly, surrounded by chaos and felt peaceful for the first time in days. Thank you Little Tienda...amazing what good food, coffee and friendly people can do. For the 7 years we're on this side of town you have my heart. See you tomorrow. x
